I was thinking about how many multiverses are in Transformers, and it dawned on me; it's never been done before in the cartoons.
I think I might want to see this.
Sure it's been done several times in the comics, but I want to see the multiverse featured in an animated episode of some future Transformers series.

Don't get me wrong, the series wouldn't necessarily revolve around the multiverse, maybe a 3 parter, or something.
But I think it might fun to see other Transformers from other shows on both sides and become vital members of the episode.

Even old voice actors could come back to reprise their roles.

And for Hasbro it would be an excuse to re-release any of the action figures which were in a multiverse episode, sort of like Hasbro did the TF Universe toy line.

So is anyone else with me on this; having elements of the multiverse in some future Transformers series?

While I'm not hating on the idea, the Multiverse might be getting a little to in-depth and complicated for a kid's show.

I'd, at the least, like to see Sideways make mention of it, being a dimension jumper and all.

I would like this idea a lot. It could be very interesting. Like a main character ending up in a Shattered Glass version of his universe.

    Yes Please.

I want what Simon Furman wanted to do with Dreamwave's Cybertron comics.

The multiverse thing always seems a little, for lack of better word, dorkish. Parallel dimensions/timelines are alright, as are some loose homages to older series, but one series interacting with "the" (insert other series here) always strikes me as getting a little too far removed from the either series' original direction.

Then again, that TMNT multiverse thing still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, which is probably unfairly souring my view on this subject.

Yes, but we'd probably see something like Optimus going into the Shatterverse to join the Decepticons before we see any other universes crossing over.

The idea of the multiverse would be a cool thing to touch upon, but it may be a little confusing for those that think every Transformers series is somehow related to the last one.

You might have a point there, But Beast Wars could (at times) get complicated, story-wise, and Beast Machines threw around a lot philosophy. I think if done properly it might work.

Yea I think I would be satisfied with that as well.

Isn't that what Animated would have done in Season 4? If I remember correctly, there was an episode planned where Bulkhead and Sari would have been sucked into the Animated Shattered Glass universe because of a Transwarp accident.

With my collection, I'm very much sold on the multiverse element of Transformers. Vector Prime is my central character, and I tend to have one toy of him per universe shelf (note that I'm not a completionist with TFs). He is the one character that I have that can travel between each universe to make sure things stay the way they should go.

I'd very much like to see something akin to this concept, even if it was just a show bumper or something (as in not a fully fledged show, but an aspect for in-between shows where he could talk to the viewer briefly about what's going on, etc.).

That's just one of my many ideas for this :)
