Would you pay more for Modern Diecast?

Would you pay more for diecast parts or rubber tires in modern figures?

    I voted "no" though I don't hate die-cast. It just doesn't work well for the modern designs, IMO.

    I had to vote no and i want to throw in my full 2 cents. Diecast is great in terms of making figures that withstand time better. G1 is proof of that. G1 however the figures with a lot of diecast are durable but they are bricks. Granted beautiful heavy bricks that don't break bu bricks none the less.

    Now if if diecast would be used for some parts but moderately like the MP Seeker mold it can help durability of fragile parts but I assume we all take care of our figures so it does not make the biggest difference for a collector would be more for children not breaking toys. And there is also an issue with paint on diecast parts it simply wears more easily especially if it is not baked on real well.

    So diecast has good points and bad.

    PS: BRING BACK RUBBER TIRES!

    No, enough people would not. We've been shown time and time again that the collector market for transformers is not large enough to support any collector-based line outside of japan.
