characters in bay's formers? no the transformers don't last long enough to become characters, they are just cannon fodder really. which is sad.  

 

Who would you rather die?, choices between two names of the same guy, then i vote Dino, but with WheeljaQ in the picture, i might just say "meh, doens't matter" unless if Dino aka Mirage could do more, like using his cloak abillity, that would be a cool edition in TF4.

What's wrong with Sideswipe?  . Just as you know he's my favorit autobot yet.

 

Was Mirage even in the second half of the movie? I don't remember him even being in Chicago.

 

The only thing i remembered him being in Chicago, is that he made a sneak takedown on a decepticon, he's a stealth fighter, got two wrist blades, can turn invisible, which make him look like the autobots assassin.

I'd have preferred him to not be in the movie period, since Sideswipe pretty much could have done everything Mirage/Dino/Carblast/WhateverTheHellHisNameIs did.

Then the whole stupid deal over that guy's non-existent toy never would have happened.

 

Both:
Mirage loosing his head to remind us how awesome starscream can be when he's not being a sycophant, which we only saw showcased briefly when he downs ratchet AND ironhide in seconds.
Wheeljaq for the poignancy of that scene, ruthless Cons proving to be real threats is the way to go, that way when the goodies win it feels like it mattered!

Add twins' deaths to the movie too and I would have enjoyed DOTM a lot more

 

He's there when the Autobots first return. He's there after Carly's saved. He's there when they hide from Shockwave. He gets captured. He's there when the Autobots begin the fight with Shockwave. He kills a Protoform when the Autobots charge the pillars. He's wounded and limping when the Autobots are walking towards Prime after Sentinel's death. He was basically there the whole time, but I felt he should've spoken so that we weren't searching in the background for him.

 

Both should of died.

 

Wheeljack, because Italia 458 is just too awesome to die.

 

Mirage basically vanishes after the Soundwave scene except for a few quick shots on him. It's noticable because Bumblebee Ratchet and Sideswipe are prominantly shown and he isn't. It's almost like they forgot they didn't kill him.

Regardless it should have been Mirage, because he's entirely superflous. A red Italian Sideswipe, when they've already got a Sideswipe. And a warrior, of which they already have 6 of. Wheeljack actually was something different, being a scientist bot who was only in battle because of desperate times. He could have had a better role in future films. Mirage on the other hand, will probably just disappear like the Twins, since they'll no doubt have even more warrior bots in the later films.

 

As much as I'd like to see the comic version of the scene, if you have the Special Edition Blu-ray, the previs for that scene is included, Mirage instead of Wheeljack. However, it feels very uneventful because it happens almost the exact same way, just a shot to the back and good day to ya.

 

How about both.

More Autobot Casulaties to show they just didn't win because Bay only cares about them besides they sucked and were expendable.

 

Dino. It would've given Starscream more to do, and not to mention the Soundwave puppet show that was going to happen with Dino's head.
