Armada characters for the most part have made up alt modes, but I think that it would be interesting if a company applied the designs to real vehicles. Hot Shot is already a modified Audi TT so this is simple, but for example Optimus could be a long-nose truck, Blur could be a Lamborghini and so on.

Feel free to post photos of vehicles.

I can understand people wanting this. But personally, I'd think it a missed opportunity if any company that decided to tackle those characters after all those years didn't go with the times and updated those bricks accurately in both modes with modern articulation.

Maybe, but then everything would have to be updated, I think.

Personally, all I want is a new legends size Star Saber.

Though, I may as well just buy an original one at any rate.

That would be what makes these versions unique compared to the originals. Although the aesthetics between G1 and the movies differ the thing that they have in common are the real vehicles. It would be interesting as opposed to multiple companies doing the same thing. Fictional vehicles are great, but they wouldn't blend in at all, making them redundant to the point of being in disguise.

Absolutely. I just don’t think you could make the Alt mode more realistic without also having to revise the bot mode.

I want Armada designs that look like Armada vehicles. It's half the charm.

I'd certainly be curious to see what they'd look like

If you think G1 was all about real vehicles you don't know it very well. And the whole point of futuristic vehicles is that they don't need to blend in. This is a science fiction series about shape-shifting robots after all. Wanting it to be about blending in on earth all the time is what would be redundant.

I didn't say that G1 was all about real vehicles, and you know what I meant, so the assumption was unnecessary. No-one said anything about having iterations of characters blend in "all the time", and I did say that fictional vehicles are great as well. Transformers isn't always about blending in in the first place, which is why no-one complains about fictional alt modes in the first place.

The point is to do something different with Armada's characters just like how you have one company having G1 characters transform into animals. Variation is hardly a bad thing. This would be in a situation if other companies were making Armada figures, is it fun or necessary having 5 companies doing the same designs? Anyway, if you don't like the idea there's nothing wrong with that.

Honestly I would have to see them and how it affected bot mode to decide. I don't have the imagination to picture them on my own. I'm not flat out against the concept though.

No. I just want Hasbro to make undated articulated versions of the characters. Some of them are easy. I can’t believe we haven’t had an Armada Wheeljack out of Sideswipe yet...

Me personally, there's maybe three characters from Armada that I want toys of at all, and I think I'd prefer them to be more cartoon accurate.

The most "realistic" I'd accept is cleaning up a few of the jankier design elements, like how the Generations T30 Armada Starscream allowed the arms to fold against the jet fuselage, instead of hanging out awkwardly under the wings. Minor tweaks like that, for the sake of a sleeker alt-mode.

Nothing like going and making Armada Megatron into an Abrams or something (Combiner Wars already did that, anyways...), because the crazy jacked-up H-Tank design was a big part of the characters' visual identity as well.
