Megatron looked really cool in ROTF and he was probably my favorite out of all the movie versions of Megatron. Although, I love the shotgun that DOTM Megatron has. Anyway, would you have preferred Megatron to have retained his look form ROTF in DOTM? Maybe with a lot of rust and battle damage? Or, did you like the DOTM version of Megatron more than ROTF version and are glad they changed his look? I actually would have preferred his ROTF version with rust and battle damage. Then to explain why he doesn't have an Earth mode, have Starsream question him in the desert scene as to why he doesn't scan one and have Megatron say that he would never scan a lowly Earth vehicle.

*Starscream*: Lord Megatron, why not scan an Earth vehicle to conceal yourself and hide your damage?
*Megatron*:Never! I shall keep my cybertronian pride. Scanning an Earth vehicle, hmmph, what nonsense. Such primitive technology. I will never resort to that. Even in conditions such as the one I am in now.

Or something along those lines. But that's just my :2c:

Nope, DotM Megs was my favorite look to the character, he looks like hate-incarnate. I only wish we could've seen a one-on-one with Optimus, starting by the two big rigs slamming into each other then scrapping it out. I also wish the shutgun shot slugs or grapeshot, instead of an electronic/plasma pulse.

No. DOTM Megatron's look is one of the best things to ever happen to this Megatron.

I love his face in DOTM. I think the whole patched together look is great! I prefere a a real alternate mode also, turning into a tuck is more interesting to me than turning into a bunch of metal pieces with treads, a cannon, and a head.

No. ROTF Megatron looked like crap. He had tank treads on his legs, a claw-like arm that looked like a crab pincer, a very thin arm with absolutely no armor, and thrusters on his back. He looked like a Cybertronian with too much armor and pieces from a junkyard all put together.

But really..isn't that exactly what he was?

Also, I have to say I prefer DOTM, but the first movie Megatron was also pretty damn good looking too.

I voted don't care. I like both designs and although I prefer his DOTM look, it wouldn't have bothered me if they kept the ROTF design.

    I vote yes.

Megs did fuck all with his DOTM alt mode. What the hell did he even adopt it for?

I love the high and mighty general feel to his ROTF body. His DOTM body was falling apart, he had an Earth style gun and wore a cloak and hood for no reason. Also, the only reason they chose a truck for him is because of Optimus. I do not want any part of Megatron being inspired by Optimus. Do you see Optimus' design being inspired by Megatron?

I loved both designs over the abominable first movie design. Ultimately I will go with DOTM Megatron. Just so creepy and badass, and he's in da hood as well.

I'll take an existing alt mode over a "Cybertronian" mode any day of the week.

I really wish they actually used it, though. The one time Optimus and Megs are on equal footing AND the most personalized alt mode ever... amounts to two quick shots of it doing nothing. There was a lot of wasted potential in these films, but this was hand-down the worst offender.

THIS. I really wish they could've put a one on one with Prime and Megs in DOTM...

Also, it kinda makes him look like an Ewok. Just sayin'.

RotF Megatron's design was my favorite of the three. The jet mode from TF1 wasn't bad, but he looked too clean. In TF3, he just didn't look like Megatron, but more like a Franken-bot. Creep factor aside, he wasn't Megatron for me.
RotF Megatron looked like a brute. Aside from being in the minority that actually really like Cybertronian alt-modes, his Trans Tech design and overall beastly look had me hoping for an update/repair for DotM rather than the 'Hobo with a Shotgun' look we got.

This is off-topic, but your signature is very annoying. I don't see why people use these GIF images with very short loops for signatures; they become very tiresome in mere seconds.

As for the topic, I think Megatron's design in Revenge of the Fallen was the ugliest; it lacked symmetry and proportion. His design in the first film is the best, followed by his design in Dark of the Moon.

ROTF design is my favourite out of all three so yeah, that would have been nice
