Would you buy Scorponok and Fortress Maximus in Leader Class scale?

I on the other hand would LOVE a IDW or Marvel-inspired Scorponok or Fort Max. The Titan-sized city former versions of those characters definitely aren’t their only notable iterations.

With the Titan class supposedly being phased out, Commander class versions of those characters would be a nice excuse to revisit them again (and finally throw a bone to comic fans).

Scorponok, yes. Fort Max, no. I've gotten used to the idea that Scorponok doesn't need to be a city-former. Fort Max loses... everything by not being a city-former.

I keep Energon and Dark Scorponok handy for this reason.

I think they should be bigger than Leader class but not Titan size

If Fort Max were IDW styled hell yea. I would finally replace my Perfect Effect Warden if it looked good enough.

I’m cool with a leader Scorponok. He has many versions and constantly changes size.

I like to keep Fort Max really big. That’s part of his charm.

The extra level of Headmastery was added in the comics, but he had no personality as Cerebros. They didn't have a way to give him life between leaving Nebulos and arriving on Earth.

It seems now that the only way we could get a classic Leader size figure of them is in the Commander size. They could still plan them for the same year.

I have the Titans, so I don't need smaller versions, but would consider getting Leader or Commander size versions of them. Fort Max would still primarily have a base altmode, but Scorponok should retain that as a 3rd mode too. They would need to use the same system from TR to retain compatibility with their teammates, so they can't be too large lest the heads will look small. Bonus points if they bring back the TR style ramp connections.

Yes, but I'd like to see re-imagined alt modes instead of cities if they went that route.

Yes. But with the standard caveat of needing to be decent new figures.

The only thing I have to say is pretty-much what he said, except that I don't have that Fort Max toy. If there were a matching Scorponok (and there isn't) then I would already possess both.

I am aware, however, that there is at least one reasonably good 3d print version of Marvel Scorponok, which could be made better with using a UV-cured resin printer instead of nylon deposition...

Yes, I would buy them. Because as you stated, they would be the Marvel Comics variants.

To me, Fortress Maximus and Scorponok are first and foremost huge citybots, so titan class figures will always have priority. For smaller iterations I might buy them (actually I already have, since I got the Zeta and Mastermade Fortress Maximus) if I think they are cool enough that I don't mind having them as standalones or to display them with Unicron.

Marvel Scorponok as a Leader-ish figure is a big yes.
