Title kinda sums it up. How would you feel about 3.75"-scaled G1-based Transformers, presumably with new human figures? They'd be pretty big, but I think it'd be a cool idea. Feel free to elaborate on your decision. This is something I've personally wanted for a very long time, and I'd like to see how others feel about the concept.

So kind of like Legends scale but G1 designs? Like DX9's War In Pocket series?

Probably should've made my point clear. I'm talking 3.75"-scale vehicles. Like how the G1 toys can fit Diaclone pilots and whatnot.

Alright... I believe you are asking for Human Alliance Transformers where the humans are around 3 3/4" tall.

About the same size as GI Joe figures, making Transformers the same size as GI Joe vehicles.

    Am I correct?

It would be cool for playability. However, I only occasionally fiddle with my figures and dont have the space to consider big Rattler sized jet-formers.

As awesome as it would be, I wouldn’t buy it.

If my kids wanted it and it was affordable at retail tho, Id certainly buy it for them.

I think they might be too big for me. MP-scale is already really big, IMO. But I like the way you're thinking. I'd love MP/3P figures to support/accommodate human figures as a play pattern more than they currently do.

Instead of 3-3/4" figures, however, if MP-10's Spike (or Mega Bloks / Construx Mini Figures as a better example) could "pilot" more figures in vehicle mode, I'd be ALL OVER THAT.

I'd think they would be great... but heck of expensive.

That'd be great! If only Takara hadn't abandoned the concept so quickly.

I voted no because I wouldn't want to restart my whole collection. If they had started with that, I probably would have, though.

I don't think I'd be all that interested. I don't really care for the human characters in TF and I really dislike it when a gimmick compromises the toy. The old human alliance toys were fair but I always felt that the necessity to have a full interior for the human figures compromised the robot modes too much. AH Barricade was the only one that was decent and they screwed him up with the gimmick in the left arm... Anyway, maybe the larger 3 3/4 scale would open up some engineering options but I doubt anyone would take the time to really do it right.

I'd love to see humans done in the GI Joe 25th anniversary style. I wouldn't even care if they had corresponding vehicles, although a Broadside the size of the USS Flagg would be rather awesome.

    I might.

I've always wanted TF figures roughly scaled to smaller humanoid action figures so I could get my 3.75 Marvel heroes fighting Decepticons. Currently my Cons usually are stomping over 1:72 scale modern military non-articulated figures but those can't be posed.

The only problem I see, both cost and storage/display space that I'd limit me to only carbot/bikebot TFs. Anything with a larger alt mode would be extremely big.

They'd be stupid kinds of expensive so no, I wouldn't be into them. Also, I'd have nowhere to display them. I would like more human figures that are to scale with MP figures, though. Like @dmarsee said, Mega Construx are a nice example. I've got the little He-Man and Skeletor figures and love them. Would love it if they'd do Spike, Daniel, Sparkplug, and especially Circuit Breaker in that style.

Why Circuit Breaker? Well it has nothing to do with her being a scantily clad cyborg chick; it's because I'm just into the comic. Why am I not asking for Donny Finkelberg, GB Blackrock, or Dynamo? Um.... :confused2

No, but seriously, I just like Circuit Breaker's character. The fact that she's a looker doesn't hurt but it's also kind of the reason I haven't tried making a custom. I can just see trying to explain to my wife that her lovingly crafted tinfoil bikini is "true to the character and I promise I'm not a pervert."

I've said it before. I want TF's that Joes can sit in. I also want ME figures of the G1 humans.

    Gimme that, 3P.

I think acid rain GI joe style toes have a 2.5" line of men and vehicles that work as a nice scale for this sort of thing.
