"edit" have added a poll would be interesting to see the end result

Sooooo..... i made a thread in 2014 and was very surprised that i didn't get a single response so going to try again

would you buy a globe say the size of the future unicron head that spun on an axis or even without the spinning function and on a stand instead with all the cities and war torn parts in full detail with buildings sticking out of the globe ect and lights?

with all the transformers and transformer related stuff their home world is something i cannot believe has not been done by an official licenced or 3rd party company or tt themselves...this would fully be a centre piece for many of us collectors.. i know it would for me

it's something that is seriously lacking from my collection i know primus was made that transformed into cybertron but to me its not detailed enough and looks like a toy as it's supposed to

looking spot on to this below

I can see a point, but it wouldn't be something I'd ever be interested in.
It would probably need a lot of dedicated shelf/display space, would either need batteries or power to actually look good, and most likely be uber-expensive.

If it was the Sunbow G1 version? Yes. Any other version? Not really. Cybertron Primus kinda works for that already.

It would be cool to look at in someone else's display, but I wouldn't want to own one. It wouldn't transform and I'd most likely have to hang it from the ceiling to display, which is too much trouble.

I doubt it. It would need to be really special to change my mind. Not saying that it's a bad idea.

I would consider it depending on the size and price.

I'd only get it if it transforms. I probably wouldn't get a higher end collectible, even if it did transform.

If they did a new Primus toy with a Cybertron mode based on the Sunbow cartoon, I would definitely be excited about that! (I'm super excited at the rumored Cybertron toy for the new movie and we don't even know anything about it!)

Figures that don't transform aren't transformers.

...if it played those whistly-reverberating ambient cybertron sounds, i'd be all over it so fast my bank would suffer a DDoS outage...

I would like to build a partial diorama of Cyberton. Say 4 ft wide, 16" deep. Put it right above my tv. With LEDs and enough spàce to stand 5 or 6 MP scale bots

A relatively small one (I just mean, don't go crazy and release a 3P one the size of Omega Supreme or anything), relatively cheap, I totally would.

It's really cool from a design perspective and a good model showing it in 3D would be awesome.

I'd love to buy this no matter if it transformed into Primus or not.
But it has to have good detailing.
And... It has to come with a GOOD stand.
I am not going to rack my brain figuring out how to display this. If they do this it has to come with a good translucent stand.

In theory, yes I think that would be an awesome display piece. But realistically I have no idea where I'd be able to display something like that.

I think the problem is that it would have little value, having no playability and no alternative display options. I would buy one if it turns into Primus, or eventually a little and cheap version to keep in my desk.
