So I was thinking,science has come so far and one day we will be living in a world not unlike Ghost in the Shell where Cyberization is the norm.

How awesome would it be,ala Ghost in the Shell,to have a second body or even main body be that of a Transformer style robot vehicle?

Personally id have a main body and whenever I felt like it id switch out with my robot car and drive around or hang out with other Transformerized people.

We could have our own buildings and hangouts,it would be its own culture!

Cyberization will happen one day,so why not Transformer tech too.

I'd like to be a -Master partner to a Transformer. But an actual Transformer? Not sure.

 

This idea formed after watching both Ghost in the Shell and this show about cyborgs and future tech on the science channel.

We could get Autobot and Decepticon logos,although this could give rise to gangs I suppose.

there are both positives and negatives here :

positives:

much longer life span
highly unlikely to get any illnesses
able to transform in another form
potentially larger size that currently are

negatives:

loss of humanity
unable to reproduce in the normal manner (no sex unless there is robo sex)
mechicanical issues instead of health issues
your new size could prevent you from be able to do many of your faveorite things

id want to be a headmaster myself

 

I'd be a Triple-changer. First mode would be a sweet looking car, second would be a jet.

And I'd freakin' DARE a cop to pull me over for speeding!

Using a GITS-style process, no. There are better body alternatives. However, I wouldn't mind occasionally wearing an outer Transformer-style shell, just for the lulz.

Now if it was a psuedo-mystical mind-transferral thingie into an actual Cybertronian-tech body, hell yes. Spend the next couple centuries designing a custom bodyshell, maybe play around with alien superscience.

just the idea of the freedom of flight... not bound by earthly things... it's a nice idea.

and then there is the (virtually) eternal life. i mean, the Cybertronians were in stasis for over 4 million years right? (didn't get to see all of G1) they live wwaaaayyyyy longer than us. so, it kind of seems like eternal life.

I would like having the body type like Armada Overload But a leader like Sentinel Maximus. Having the minicon body wich is the size of most humans (according to cartoon and comic comparison)and being able to combine with a larger part to take on the bigger battles or work. While also having a PRIME rank and Sentinel's energon powers to make weapons. And plus you can always make something out of energon for those ladie bots, wink wink nudge nudge.

 

If technology would allow me to become a Transformer, you can bet that I WILL become a Transformer. I would have a hard time choosing an alt-mode, though.  

 

That's the beauty of being a Transformer you can change your alt mode. Reading the previous posts while being a headmaster would be totally cool Id have to settle on Godmaster.

Godmaster = Transformer + Super Powers

 

How about a Pretender, best of both worlds! Only joking, they suck (and I'd just end up as part of a junk lot on eBay).
