Hi! I am probably going to save my money for the new Titans Return Trypticon coming in 2017. However, I will not be able to, and don't currently have, Metroplex. Will Trypticon look bad in my collection without his nemesis starring him down?

Never. It would never look dumb.

Might look dumb without arms or legs, but then it's a robo-snake, so...still awesome.

Beyond the obvious "your collection can look however you want" type comments, I think it's fine to have just Trypticon. He's probably going to look crazy cool. Plus, if you think he looks wrong, just put him in base mode and cover him in Titanmasters

Not at all, Trypticon's design is awesome and I'm sure the new one will look badass on its own!

I'd still get Trypticon even if I didn't have Metroplex. The 'Cons need some more firepower and heavy muscle.

This is the reason why I am keeping Plex. With Trypty coming next year they both need thief counterparts.

If you're worried about how a giant robot dinosaur city will look logically in your collection, don't lol. If you can only afford Trypticon and you really want him then I say you go for him.

It wouldn't look any dumber than those of us who just have Metroplex and no Trypticon.

They paired Trypticon with Omega Supreme in War for Cybertron and that worked out fine.

I'm not planning on pairing Trypticon with anything other than tons of tiny hopeless autobots scampering for cover.

It's kind of impossible to make something as awesome as Trypticon look dumb.

Nope. I don't have Metroplex but I do have Fort Max so I guess that works?

I think Trypticon alone would look awesome, but I get what you're saying. I'm a bit of a completionist and would want Metroplex just because it seems like they should go together. That said, I passed on Metroplex and am mulling over Trypticon now too. I actually wouldn't at all be surprised if they reissued Metroplex when Trypticon releases. I believe he sold well enough to warrant it.

Got Fort Max instead of Metroplex, since I missed out on 'Plex and plus Fort Max is cooler. I'll probably grab Trypticon, after all both Fort Max and Trypticon were considered rivals for one frame in Devil Due's G.I. Joe vs. Transformers comic.

A giant dinosaur robot will never look bad. If any, it gives an "underdog" sense for Autobots, being overwhelmed in size and numbers

Metroplex did a good job of it in the cartoon. :p

Anyway: absolutely not. He'd look fine on his own.

Trypticon is the reason I'm not hunting Metroplex. If I can only get one, it'll have to be the dinosaur city. Unless they ever make a scorpion one of course, but that's just me dreaming...

If they re released Metroplex... Well, I actually would only be able to afford one of them, so i would be back to step 1 xD. I guess I can save now the #300 i would need for both, and if they remake metro I can get both, and if they only come out with Trypticon, ill get him, then spend the other $150 or save it.
