All this arguing over whether Prowl is a ninja or nature lover seems unnecessary. I thought it was quite clear his fascination with organic life was based from a ninja's perspective on the world. Afterall, don't ninjas learn alot of their techniques from nature somehow. Take the pouncing cat Prowl was observing, he mimiced it later on. Even the growth of the tree in his quarters he saw as a force of nature that would not be contained. It's a ninja's view of the world for sure.
