Personally I'd like to see more non-slavish anime accurate MP Optimus. MP-44 and TE-01 seem to have this covered.

 

I don't know if I'd agree with you on best masterpiece I've ever seen but it does look very nice. Masterpiece for me is basically walking straight off the screen and onto the shelf they look that good. That head sculpt is a sticking point. The proportions on this prime look outstanding though, and yeah super clean. Wonder what kind of engineering this thing would have though lol.

Lord knows I don't need another OP, for anything to even remotely tempt me it would have to properly knock my socks off at this point.
This looks interesting but a 3d render of an unsold design, no I'm not getting excited about that.

 

Not opposed to someone taking another stab...but personally, it would probably have to be the best version available and price friendly for me to consider yet another MP scale Prime. But that's just me... I get sick of the character merry-go-round of swapping out all your figures with marginally better versions. 3rd Party Generations figures got there at the end, official Generations figures are smack dab in the middle of it, and MP is just getting going with it. I get why it happens, but not overly interested in participating in it.

 

Hope there would be a version WITHOUT trailer and WITHOUT damaged look parts, for ~100$.

Will the transformation be posted here (or in the designer’s thread)? It’s pretty key to getting a full understanding of “what this does”.

As for whether I’d buy this, I’d probably pass since it doesn’t really fit what I’d be interested in if I were going to buy another MP-inspired Prime.

Question: is the trailer hitch designed to work with an existing trailer? If so, which one.

 

I will be asking @walternaka if I can post it. It just so happens to share similarities with both TE-01, and MP-44.

 

Really not a fan of the super-high-up diaper piece. I understand why the designer did it, but it doesn't look great.

 

Given there is need of some design alterations, I'm sure flaps can be added to the bottom of the crotch guard.

 

Robot looks 100% there. To buy again, the truck would have to be closer. Looks like it needs smaller headlights, less space between the windows and stripe, each window needs to be stretched more horizontally, and the grill details are a bit off. It looks like none of those parts show up in robot mode, so hopefully these surface details of the truck wouldn't change anything on the robot.

 

to be honest this looks like an initial design study. i don't think its 100% fleshed out. also, the posed picture...it breaks the mold a lot. looks like he made some comproises to have a less panelledd/broken look in static poses.

 

I would get one if it is done well. I can never have enough Primes.

 

I’d buy another truck MP Optimus if it wasn’t G1 again. MP-44 does the job for me.

 

Only if it also becomes Powermaster Optimus Prime/God Ginrai lol

 

I'd rather see a new MP Powermaster Optimus/Ginrai or Star Convoy, from anyone, instead of another crack at the standard G1 Optimus.

 

One is already out by fans hobby and you guys got another one coming from kfc. Hopefully those two suit your tastes?

 

...I know. I wouldn't mind someone taking another crack at PM OP though, and same with Star Convoy. Normal Prime will always be popular and end up with multiple attempts, but I don't see with the PM and Star Convoy versions need to be one and done, if another company has something interesting to offer.
