To petition hasbro for a leader class evasion mode Prime? I love my Buster Prime and I love my evasion Prime and I'll probably get the Takara TRU Prime when it comes out. But I would absolutely love a leader class evasion prime! Something third party companies would get behind like they did with the ROTF mold. Just curious what you all think and if we could do it here on these forums. Also, this is my first post. Thank you all.

I honestly doubt they would. maybe they will think about it if a fifth movie is being made.

There could be an upsized knockoff in the future.

    Is it possible? Sure!

Would it happen? I really don't think so. As is, Transformers have lost a LOT of the luster it had a few years back, and I'm not even expecting AoE to extend much beyond Christmas at this rate.

That really sucks. I grew up watching G1 and I loved it. I love the Movies. Never could get my parents to buy Optimus as a kid, Found him at a local flea market one day for 5 bucks, no hands, no trailer, no roller. I grabbed him instantly on the way home we rented the animated movie on vhs. I was stoked! Then I hear mom chew something up in the vacuum cleaner. Needless to say my optimus wasn't the die cast version... So Optimus toys are a big deal to me. I would love to have this guy in leader class so I could let him borrow buster Primes rifle and cubex cannons and admire all the details in leader class scale

Fan petitions very, very rarely do anything, if ever. I think your best bet would be to watch for any up sized KOs of the voyager that may come out. Third parties also see anything other than G1 as too big of a risk to do a full figure, unfortunately.

On a less somber note, welcome to the boards! :lol

Thank you sir. This is what really...can I say pisses? me off, Hasbro really doesn't seem to care about what the fans want just so long as they're making money. Most of the new molds for the movie suck. Big time suck. They made such good progress over the last two movies with screen accuracy and transformations. On this one they downscaled the toys, again and they just threw in some really bad character designs with really bad transformations. I have evasion OP and high octane bee. Probably the only two I'll buy other than TRU takara evasion OP and maybe hound.

To be fair, Hasbro doesn't have much say with the character designs for movies. A member here, Vangelus, just posted an interview with one of the people in charge of toys at Hasbro on his YouTube channel. The maximum involvement they really had was suggesting that the Dinobots have distinctive colors in the movie and uh... They didn't listen to that very well :lol

With the new designer desk interviews transformers posts on their YouTube channel you can really tell these guys are into their jobs, so I doubt they enjoy having to come up with toys that turn from rigid cars into robots with barely no car parts on them. At the same time, old toys definitely were getting a bit complex. I was maybe fourteen when ROTF came out, and a friend of mine who recently got into the series bought ROTF Prime and literally could not transform it, and he was not a dumb kid. It was just way too complex for a casual fan to figure out. I'd never expect a five year old to figure him out, and I'd feel bad for the parents that probably couldn't do it either.

Those toys were great for the more adult collectors or kids who had experience with the brand, but for a casual fan or a kid actually in the age group these are aimed at, they were practically impossible. There's no official numbers, but it's generally guesstimated that collectors make up somewhere between 5 and 20 percent of overall transformer sales, so while Hasbro can throw us a bone occasionally (or keep he entire generations line going by some crazy miracle), it's not financially feasible to just do what fans ask for. They definitely care though. If they didn't care, there'd be no way in heck we'd be getting a Generations G1 Arcee, Generations Brainstorm, G1 Dinobots SDCC set, or ANY masterpiece releases stateside.

One could certainly hope that they'd do one down the line, but they're already milking that voyager mold for all its worth already... how many variations have been announced already? 6? 7? Don't think they've even teased a full-blown Nemesis Prime release yet either (which I want SO BAD).

Understood but that's also why they have different product lines, all I can say is...third party.

That's real sad and....that's real sad. Although, my Buster OP is the KO version.......I'm not big on buyin anything KO but it had better paint apps than even the Takara version.
