Sure. Hope the bigger scale would include room in the tail for an arm and hand to go into it to wield it as a weapon, and to give him a better more articulated hand coming out of the dino head. Then yeah.
Eh I think he's fine as a deluxe but I'd probably buy an upscaled version of him since I like the design of the figure.
To answer the OP's question I say Nope,I would not want an upscaled Scorn,I would want all the AOE Dinobots upscaled.Well except Grimlock his leader size figure is plenty big enough. The rest seem tiny compared to him and they need to be the same size,and in Slogs case even bigger since pound for pound Brachiosaurus are one of the largest dinosaurs.
I'd like to see Scorn, Period. Him, Strafe, and Slash I haven't seen at Retail yet and he's the one I really really really want.
Yes! I actually said something about this earlier today. They should upscale all the deluxe dinobots from the movie to Voyager. Short list of what they should have. 1. All dinobots voyagers 2. Ankle tilt 3. Wrist articulation 4. All should have a weapon and gun (g1 style) 5. A repaint to g1 colors 6. An alternate g1 head sculpt for the G1 colors Individual things. Grimlock a sword for g1 repaint. Scorn 2 arms with tail/lance storage. Slug better alt mode weapon storage. Strafe g1 repaint retool with 1 head that splits apart to make Swoop Slash better tail storage for bot mode.
Yes. I am not really interested in deluxe. It seems odd that you would get Grimlock in Voyager and all the rest in deluxe.
Hey strangeguy,just do like I did and buy one of those flip & change Strafe,he really is pretty cute even tho his lower half has 0% leg movement except at the knees,but those dino heads are super articulated,I have mine displayed in bot mode and have his alt mode heads sticking up like they can bite you if you get too close.I mean he clearly could be a placeholder till you find the deluxe. As for Slash I am not sure when he comes out either wave 2 or 3,can't remember,but I am sure with the movie coming out in less than a month we will see a big push to stock shelves with a wide assortment and I am sure Slash will be among them.Hope that helps.
Scorn is a great deluxe figure and the second Dinbot I bought. He is in a nice scale with the Voyager Grimlock I think. For me Grimlock should be the biggest Dinobot and all the others should be smaller. That said if they did do a Voyger class of all the Dinobots I'd be all ove them. But I'm content with the deluxe, well except for Slash, a raptor should be smaller then the rest.
Yeah, I agree we should have the dinobots as voyagers. Robots transforming into dinosaurs...seems like a sure 'win' as most boys love the two!
