Well, what the title says, would it work ?
I know that Disney owns Marvel rights, but both the marvel movies and the TF movies are distributed by paramount ?!

If they thought of it from the beginning sure but since both universes have not talked about the existence of the other it'd be quite difficult at this point. Why didn't the Avengers help the Autobots in Chicago? Why weren't the Autobots called in as backup to the Avengers? Etc etc. it'd be cool though.

Hmm, I think I'll have to say it might work but probably not. I think that too many superheros and giant robots would just be too chaotic in a film in a bad way. That would just be too much going on.

No thank you, Though Marvel has crossed over other their characters into the Transformers universe. I'd rather have it not happen.

 

Short answer: No.

 

It would have to be something completely separate a spin-off perhaps that took place in an alternate universe.

In their current state it wouldn't work as neither franchise is logically compatible.

If we are thinking of crossovers at all then G.I.Joe seems the most likely given that they are planning on rebooting the G.I.Joe film series after the third film and that people on both sides have talked about the potential for a crossover and Hasbro would be more likely to crossover its own series to make a profit than attempt a crossover with Marvel studios. G.I.Joe would also effectively take the place of the military group in the film and their inclusion could be used to have the focus on the human characters be on the G.I.Joe members more than less interesting civilians.

 

Why would it be bad? 3rd party developers would have to be a lot more careful than they are now, but tbf Disney would probably be better at distributing the figures than Hasbro are doing atm  

Nothing against Hasbro, but i feel Disney may do things a little better...

Also the cartoons would probably all link together better, Disney did wonders for Marvel and i feel Star Wars will benefit to. Why wouldn't TF?

Would it be the most badass thing that any of us have ever seen? Yes, even though Spidey and Wolverine still wouldn't be in it lol

 

It would work if they had planned it from the start. But, for right now? NAH.

Kevin Feige agrees that Transformers is epic, so he'd be open to the idea I assume. It's just too late.

 

If thats the case I demand a Transformers-My Little Pony crossover!
