    Would a remolded Generations Metroplex be acceptable as Generations Scorponok

    Uuh, no. You wouldn't be able to get any kind of scorpion mode out of it either without lots of retooling/remoulding so you may as well do a new figure.

    No. If anything, Hasbro would step on FunPub's toes a year or two later with a repaint/retool of the Energon Scorponok... like they did with Dirge a few years back.

    I can see an SG Metroplex at some point... or an IDW Necrotitan... as some sort of Con Exclusive.

    No. The amouht of changes needed to even get close would cost so much they may as well make a new mold and get it right.

    Besides trying to remold the 'plex into Scorponok would end up looking half ass.
