Which 5 Gobots would you consider worthy to display with your Transformers?

    Here's my honor roll:

    Night Ranger
    Dive Dive
    Snoop
    Twin Spin
    Sky Jack

    and 3 Super Gobots:
    Spy-Eye
    Night Fright
    Defendor

There are very few GoBots that I wouldn't slap either Autobot or Decepticon faction symbols on :)

    Exactly.

I think Crasher would make an excellent Decepticon. :)

Off-topic kinda, but I'd welcome any Gobots character to be repainted from a Transformers toy. I'd think that would be pretty cool, even if they have to change their color scheme like Bugbite, Bad Boy, Road Ranger and Pathfinder.

I was toying with using my gobots as play things for my Transformers to use in my displays.

For example, Grimlock tearing off Leader One's arm or Starscream standing over his conquered foe (Leader One).

For me, I wouldn't have them displayed, pride of place or anything

When I finally get around to getting Botcon Rapido, I'm getting a custom made decal for his hood and turn him into Zeemon.

I actually have Puzzler and Grungy displayed with my TF's now! Finding a good spot for the Rock Lords is gonna be tough though...

I have Puzzler in my TF room. He's actually a pretty neat combiner. Different from all TF combiners and self contained. But alas he is still just a Go Bot lol

i am surprised by the reaction. i thought there would be more scorn for the Gobots, not acceptance.
i don't have many Gobots in my collection, but my Super Gobot Warpath is on the TF shelf.

As far as actual Gobots, I own none. There's a used toy shop close to where I live that has about 30 or more Gobots in a box. Some are worse for wear, some are decent. Only reason I haven't gotten them is I know I'd have to get them all, just like the TFs I collect. Same reason I'm abstaining from those awesome comic figs coming out lately.

another vote for puzzler. I like him (all 6 of them) quite a bit.
Monsterous is next on my list for gobots. another combiner.
I also have blockhead on my shelf, but that is purely out of convienence.

Agreed! As a kid I played with them all together, so as far as I'm concerned Gobots (and, yes, Rock Lords and even some Convertors) are essentially honorary Transformers. They hold just as much nostalgia for me as TF's.

The Gobot toys were very nice toys back in the day and they still hold up well. Figures like blockhead are great examples of what could be done in that scale.

I picked up Monsterous a few months ago and he is delicious.

nice aquisistion. Only thing stopping me is that I have so many other things that I seem to want more and Monsterous is on the expensive side especially for gobots

Pretty much all of them. Including the Machine Robo ones that were never released here.

That said, I have a few homages among my TFs - Wal-Mart Fracture (AKA Crasher), ROTF Armorhide (AKA Geeper Creeper), and ROTF Deadlift (AKA Spoons). I think life would be amazing if we could get some kind of homage/update to Tux/Stretch; he showed up in the Animated universe via the Allspark Almanac II, so I still hope.
