Ironically I got a BiS Rodimus that's perfectly alright. But I got a universe Cyclonus that had 2 left hands. And since I got it through Ebay I had to wait until it showed up at retail and swap it.

My Generations Megatron's cannon had a busted spring. Darkmount was really loose after one transformation, and like everyone else my BIS Rodimus arms won't stay in the ball joint.

My Titanium Rodimus came with Titanium RID Optimus' instructions. Were they packing them up side by side or something? Were those two figures even in the same wave?

Once got a Sidearm Sideswipe with (I kid you not) two left feet. The lady at the return checkout in Walmart got a good chuckle out of that.

My Human Alliance Bumblebee's head won't stay on. The shape of the bottom of his head and the shape of the top of his neck clash, so when I turn his head, it instantly pops off. This is all I have..

I guess Sideswipe isn't as "good" as he says he is? I think Sideways had something to do with that there!

Off the top of my head:

Legends Cosmos had 2 left feet,
Universe Ultra Magnus had his arms put together backwards,
Leader Brawl had 2 of the same flip out blades on his left arm, and
Cyberverse Shockblast Megatron was missing his right front wheel.

My Movie 1 Leader class Optimus Prime is missing the ratchet from one of his hip joints. Still poses and everything, and it didn't stop me from enjoying it, it's just he has a really loose leg.

Not to be off-topic, but after a quick web search, I'm apparently not the only one who owns a LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK Scutosaurus and Estemmenosuchus 2-pack with the Estemmenosuchus's front and back left legs switched.

I got one on Black Friday like that too. Apparently, someone got a little too carried away with the glue. Just take the leg apart and carefully pry the glued pieces apart.

Mine did, too. Thankfully I got it exchanged within the hour.

A note to those hunting her, (I know I've posted this before, but a good PSA needs to be repeated) look into the back of the bubble. You can see her hands through there and tell if she's okay or a mutant.

When I got my HFTD Terradive, his legs were loose. Now, they won't stop falling off!

If it's the ball joint, coat it with a bit of clear nail polish or Pledge Floor Finish with Future Shine. It'll tighten the joint up without issue.

I had that problem with a PCC Leadfoot- I just loosened the joint a little by taking the leg apart a bit. Now the joint's a bit loose, and the seams don't always come together properly, but he can form his combined mode and a flush vehicle mode.

I always seem to have QC problems with toys I buy from the MCM Expo. One of the Ravage-holding flaps on my Universe Hound doesn't flip up, and the Ravage has incredibly floppy legs. I also bought a TFA Bumblebee, but every one of its balljoints was loose!

More recently, the spring on my RTS Lugnut's POKE was too small, and it jammed and bent. I've tried looking for a replacement, but now I'm going to superglue Lugnut's arm back in place. It means he only has one POKE-ing arm, but at least he'll be able to transform and have a secure arm...

Worst cases for me so far have been a voyager Animated Starscream that was missing his left thumb, and a recently purchased FE Bumblebee that has two left hands... So I guess I've been either lucky, or I don't look my figures over that well.

You had no way to know. This is why I often prefer for figures to be packaged in robot mode.

DOTM voyager Megatron's fuel tank will not go into place as shown. I just leave him in robot form to avoid looking awkward.

Did you try folding the handle in? It's on a hinge specifically for this purpose, and rather easy to overlook...
