While Nolan's villains were all great, some people may not think the same.

Which do you think is the worst?

    Max Shreck!
    Wait, he was Burton. Sorry.

Okay, how about Two-Face. I call him "the worst" because he only appeared in the latter part of TDK and not at all in TDKR. He didn't get enough time to shine, he could have really come into his own in TDKR as being revealed to be the lie on which Gotham's security was built on. But they didn't go that route.

None of them. They were all handled exceptionally well, imo. In some cases, better than in recent comic appearances.

Scarecrow. He had some potential but was ultimately disappointing. The most "villain-y" thing he did was produce the fear gas. And that wasn't even for his own use, it was for the League to use on Gotham. Oh and he got tazzed in the face? Seriously?

I have to admit I adore the cornyness of Arnold Mr. Freeze.

    None.

I honestly like the villians in this continuity. Scarecrow is one of my fav villian peroid due to Cillian Murphy's creepy portrayal.

If I had to pick one, it'd be The Scarecrow, if only because he was more a plot device than an actual villain. And he went down like a chump.

But as a plot device, he served his purpose well. If he were allowed to give the first movie a full run, then his gimmick would have dominated the whole film and completely changed its dynamic and theme. The first movie wasn't supposed to be about fear. That was only a facet of Batman's genesis.

I assume Talia Al Ghul was Ras' daughter. If so, then her. She was a needless plot twist that made Bane uninteresting and ruined the awesome Batman VS Bane story they had.

I liked Scarecrow in that he was treated more like a random member of the Greek Chorus rather than a Villain with capital 'V'. For me, that is more interesting and works better than if he'd been the sole focus of an entire movie. What the character's use accomplishes is to hint at a larger Batman world beyond what we are able to personally witness in the very limited run-time of three movies. You don't need that in the comics, because they continue endlessly. But doing it this way in the movies helps flesh out the illusion we are watching an entire life rather than just 3 random adventures.

I'd like to think that if Nolan's movie series had run 6 films instead of 3, Crane would have continued to appear briefly in each.

    Bite your tongue.

Just taking the Nolanverse into consideration....the weakest of them was easily Scarecrow.
