Those who went to BotCon only saw a prototype of Starscream, the rest of us have no idea if it's any good or not. But I think that Jetfire is the worst. I think it has Universe Silverbolt Syndrome, or, heck, Universe Ultra Syndrome. Too big. :/
crap i didnt see a prototype of SS at Bot Con. What did that look like?? I would have to say Megs is my least fav. leader. Jetfire has a kick ass alt. mode.
Jetfire looks a little clunky to me, but I'll get it and at that point I'll have an opinion. Right now I like Megatron better than Optimus.
Jetifre looks the worst out of all those that I've seen. The only people whom have had a chance to see Leader Starscream were the guys at the Hasbro Designers Panel... and that was only a picture of a prototype (which, if you believe all the hype, will be THE MOST AWESOME LEADER EVER!1!1). But, yeah, Jetfire looks the worst... he's too big and chunky and he definitely suffers because of his electronics and his combined mode. Speaking of his combo mode with Prime... it's horrible looking. Even Jetpants Prime looked better.
Jetfire and Megatron are my least favorite. Megs is a giant paperweight, and Jetfire might not need that cane if he didn't carry a whole freaking jet on his back! Seriously, integrate some of that into the bot mode, don't just fold it all under a jet! UGH!
Megatron. Jetfire gets points for the "Power-up Prime" (or what ever its called) mode. Though I have a lot of issues with jet-formers where all the kibble is visable under the top of the vehicle mode, I dislike Cybertronian mode-formers just as much. So yeah, Megatron is the worst. I plan to pick up all of the other leaders so Megatron would have to be my least favorite leader, right?
I only have Prime, but from pictures I think Jetfire at least looks the worst. I'm usually not a fan of Cybertronian modes, but tank Megs in bot mode actually looks solid. Sure, his arms need some work, but at least he doesn't have a bunch of crapola hanging off of him. I'm betting that Jetfire suffers from the combination more than anything. Sadly (and again, obviously I don't have this yet so this is just going from looks), the combination mode in toy form just doesn't look good. I would've rather them screw the combination and give us a better looking Jetfire.
Megatron is by far the worst. He needs serious modifications to even be considered somewhat decent. Starscream even sounds better than he does. Prime is basically an all-plastic and lower priced Masterpiece figure, even the paint apps and gray plastic. Jetfire could be almost as great as Prime if he had a Premium paint job, but as-is, is still much better than Megs.
Megatron hands down. If he had a better head sculpt, a claw arm that looks menacing, and please, no gimp hands, especially when its a "Leader version" of a "Main Villian" in "Your" movie?? Having the toy look like that makes ROTF Prime laugh out loud!! So yeah Megs has the award for that lol, but If he would have been made a bit more of a "revised" version such as what i mentioned above, then yeah i would have dropped another 40 bucks to hasbro.
I can't decide. Actually all of them looks decent. And I love my ROTF Megatron as much as my Prime. It's really underrated. A great toy IMO
Leader Blackout. Lacking in the bot mode, lacking in the alt mode. Hasbro's not going to get a dime from me although I may change my mind if I see him in person.
i like them all equally, i actually like megs the best ......i don't know anything of ss so hes my choice for worst....i like optimus too but hes to me...just another awsome OP....and im really looking forward to jetfire..i mean...HES HUUUUUGGGEEEE IN ALT MODE AND I MEAN C'MON....HES GOT a cane...how cool is that. movie 1 megatron is for the ultimate loss in my book
