    there have been some real doozies over the past 10yrs or so, some are just stupid, other just make no sense, so lets discuss how bad and why the names are considered bad

    1st up ToyWorld Coolsville.....

    like really, you drop a great name like Blues for that crap? anybody got one worse? i'll even throw a poll in bcuz everyone likes polls

    To me, the name doesn't matter.
    But... Can't say I'm a fan of some of GT's Gravity Builder character names. Mixing Truck, Bulldozer, Dump Truck, and Crane. Three cheers for zero creativity.

    Name it "Shitstick McDicksheezers" and I'd still buy a 3p toy. I don't call Maketoys Hound "Gundog", I don't call MMC Impactor "Spartan".

    I just call them [company name] [correct transformer name], like maketoys devastator, fans project chromedome, or MMC shockwave boat.

    It's either the worst or the best...can't decide.

    I think the worst name, though, is calling your figure that's obviously (fill in the blank) and instead calling it whatever name 3rd Party company called it for the sake of retailers selling it.

    The name only matters to me when it's on the packaging. Once that's out of sight, the figure typically gets referred to by the character name it homages.

    Actually it's spelt Ellen, but I figure they were referring to her. That's how these 3rd parties role, use crappy names and wrong spelling :D
