Over the last two weeks we've seenthe new toys and we've heard that season three is being handled by an out sourced to a 3rd part animation company different from the first two season.

I have to admit this concerns me. Beast Wars had a great story in season 2 and 3 and ooked like it was going to fly until the art style changed, the writters changed, and even the network that was carrying them changed. IMO, Beast machines failed and I'm concerned history might repeat itself.

I think, "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it" Go with what's been working. Make additions to and enhancements to, but don't try to change it.

    What you guys think?

Polygon isn't handing TFP to another studio. They're just working together with another one that's all. And TFP belongs to the Hub so it's not going anywhere.

If anything, having another studio helping them will mean more animation models and, by extension, more characters.

I never said that the show was going to switch netwroks. obviously it's theres. Also the third party, If it's shared work, I feel better. If it's handed off, I'm worried.

I just hope what makes this show awesome continues

I was saying it's a fact that it's not being handed off, it's just getting a helping hand.

also at least here in va beast wars and beast machines were on the same network, fox. also the same company handeled all 5 seasons, mainframe, plus that was a show and its sequel, beast hunters is a subtitled season 3 for prime. if you like dcau then think of batman beyond return of the joker. the company that normally handeled animation for batman beyond had to outsource parts of the movie to another animation studio over in asia and personally i cannot tell the difference. it should be even harder to tell the difference with cgi animations because all of the character models are already created

The outsourcing is not necessarily a bad thing. If anything, it could reap serious rewards. There's what people have been saying about the possibility of a larger cast, but there's also the possibility that we just might see more characters in the backgrounds of environments, correcting one of the bigger problems from the series - that the environments look so empty and lifeless at times.

With the help of another studio, we'll probably see animals now! But seriously we might get new Autobots and Decepticons in season 3.

Polygon Studios is just working with a new company, they're not shifting companies and production of prime over to the new people. If anything, this can only make things better and give us more characters perhaps/better resources and graphics.

Don't mix beast wars and beast machines up. Beast Machines was created because of a pushing for more Beast Wars episodes. The writers, as far as my knowledge goes back, were to write a 'sequel' to beast wars without having to reference events from that show. So they were meant to be different enough shows, despite being connected..

So this is more beneficial than it is a problem...

We'll just have to wait until season 3 starts and see where it goes.

Don't think the OP should be worried that changes are being made because so of the changes are needed such as what Sol Fury said.

So let's just wait and see where it goes. My main hope for season 3 is relic hunting will be kept to a minimal cos we had enough of that in season 2.

But it is broke. I wish these changes had greater implications: I'd love to see a more competent or at least daring team take on the universe the Prime writers have built and then neglected.

I'm more worried that the hatred this series has will officially topple Energon as the all-time worst.
