Here's a repaint I just started. It's a Transformatrix Prime KO from Dollar Tree. Only $1, of course. I basically have the base coat down for the whole figure. Stickers are from reprolabels. Still a lot of fine detailing to do.

And here's a comparison shot with the original toy.

Hope to get some more work done on this soon. I will be making a few mods to this toy so the head and arms can be attached to the truck mode when transformed. Nothing fancy. Still not sure if I want to paint the windows or leave then as is. There's a silly red light inside the cab. High tech stuff. LOL.

It's actually not a terrible looking toy with some paint slapped on it. It has nice articulation. And for a buck, how can you go wrong?

Thanks for taking a look. Keep an eye out for updates in the near future.

Ha! I remember seeing these guys in that store and being... well, puzzled by them. But you made it look SO much better! Hell, it actually looks better to me than Robot Masters Prime now. The paint job looks really clean and nice.

Didn't they also have a long-nosed version of this guy? You should get that one too and repaint it as RID Scourge or Ultra Magnus or someone. :)

Cool stuff! I forget, do these transform?

Cool. I have this one and the long-nosed version of it. I got them mainly for the weapons. One gun will be painted black and yellow and given to Classics BB, and the other gun will be painted silver and red and given to Classics Cliffy. I'm also going to paint the two axes orange, and give one of them to Classics Prime. I'm not sure what to do with the other axe as of yet though. Nice work on that. Peace out.

Yes, it transforms. I'm working on a way to make the arms and head connect to the truck mode. As is, the arms and head are just stuck in some holes in robot mode.

I may do a few more versions using the long nose toy as well. Need to finish this one first.

This is the first time I've even heard of Transformatrix.

Those certainly do look like Inferno/Grapple arms!

Nice job with the painting. :)

You can find them at Dollar Tree stores. There's also a long nose truck version.

Nice work, though I'd feel bad if I used up good Reprolabels on one of those. :)

Just plain old Fusion spray paint. $4 a can. Using Citadel paints for the detail work on the non-rubbing parts (silver trim, etc).
