Yeah but I'll be honest and just say I had zero interest in soccer aka football until I got married (wife's Brazilian  ) and some of my coworkers are also way into the sport, lol. The drama and funny Internet memes that go along with the World Cup also help make it more entertaining for me.  

Needless to say, the missus and I are cheering for Brazil. Nicely played game vs. Colombia and while it wasn't the prettiest game, a win is a win. Victory came at a high cost with so many injuries inflicted upon Brazil, however, especially with Neymar and his cracked vertebrae (dirty play on the part of Colombia deliberately shoving him into the turf like that with a knee to the back).

Germany does seem to be the team to beat. We're still hopeful but yeah, Brazil is turning out to be the underdog in that match for sure.
