So this has been so much work. For all of you who have no idea what goes into the process of getting something mass produced let me tell you, it is difficult. Making hard decisions about what to include, how to make something, and what will help us as artists be able to make a product that will give enough profit to put back into future pieces. So far the head is our first goal as this design is amazing. Tecrrom Designs did a fantastic job. I am honored to be working with him.

I have used a production sample on a custom I have made. The final product will be in black ABS resin cast with a metal flake and a transparent visor. I have painted the front with a dark metallic gray so you guys can see the detail..

Just to be clear. There are choices of red visor with teeth, or blue visor with no teeth.

Could there be a choice of light piping? If not red would probably be best. His dino mode eyes are red anyway.

It'd be cool if you could fix some of his problems.

 

Can you give us both light piping colors, so we can swap? or give us a choice? because I change up my MP Grimlock's eyes all the time.

If you fill in the underside of the T-rex mode, I'll love you forever.

 

As with the others, I like to get both blue and red.  

 

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I'd prefer a red visor, but options are always awesome. While we're on the idea of options, maybe a non-teeth grille too? I'm not mortally opposed to it, and the comic look is pretty awesome, but if I had to choose only one, I'd go for a classics look first and foremost. Regardless, if you can improve this guy, I'm all in.

 

This looks to be VERY promisng!   Hopefuly it'll help make my FOC Grimlock a lot better!

 

Would it be too much to ask for a double-barrel G1 gun?

 

Would it be possible to make the visor change from blue to red like the MP head ?

 

So is this going to be sold only as a set? I'm fine with my FOC Grim being my FOC Grim, but I would however like that belly plug and maybe those swords.

I thought I was already satisfied with FOC Grimlock, but I don't think I'll be able to resist these upgrades. You definitely have my attention, guys. And I'd say include both blue and red visors.

 

Must haves! Not sure if these additional parts will make this ho-hum toy shine (still polishing a turd IMHO), but it certainly couldn't hurt and I applaud your efforts!

And personally I vote blue visor for Grimmy.

I like the bigger sword, and the head is neat too (even though I plan to keep mine as FoC not Classics/IDW).

What I'd really like though is a bigger shield. The sword is already almost the right size, but the shield is grossly undersized.

 

As long as everything is color-matched, I'm going to get a set.

 

I vote red visor. I love the incorporation of War Within "teeth" on the faceplate. I'd almost be willing to buy another Grimlock to accommodate this kit.
