I’m sure someone will get it before me (I just paid my ShowZ balance off so who knows when it’ll ship) but I have nox I can pose with him.

I read 2 reviews on Baidu, seems transformation is nightmare...
I will probably wait for other colour replaint, since I have the white MMC drift already.

I just discovered this thing and it looks amazing! First time in a long time I've seen something that felt like a must-buy. Then my wife took the steam out of me when she said it looked like a Gundam to her. (One of my pet peeves is when the G1 designs started looking like Gundams since the designer was exactly that previously.). Even so, looks awesome, but it also occurred to me that a black repaint would make an amazing Batmobile.

 

Ik it’s mp scale but I’m curious to see this next to a chug toy

 

Mine has shipped! Very excited. I’m debating about putting the livery on or not, but having to carefully apply and then cut through with the seams, not to mention how it’ll look in robot mode. I do wish they included pictures of that.

Mine arrived earlier today. Good looking figure, transformation isn't too bad although on first transformation things didn't all fit together as neatly as the instructions suggest. Instructions themselves are oversimplified to the point of missing critical steps, seems to be a theme this year.

I'd recommend waiting on a proper transformation video before tfing yours, don't want to strain anything. No stress marks after tfing, good joints. The plastic pegs on the waist that connect to the metal abs are, unsurprisingly, dinged up after transformation- plastic into metal connections, why???

Only real negative is that the wrist joint on the right hand of mine was slathered in glue and promptly snapped the first time I touched it. So replacement parts request into BBB; a whole right arm, as after inspection the whole arm assembly looks sealed shut so I can't just open it at the forearm and replace the hand (not very clever).


Overall a pretty solid figure. Only parts I'd watch are the antenna spikes as they're long and thin, and the plastic pegs - waist abs connection I mentioned before.

This figure looks gorgeous but this may be the most annoying transformation of any figure I've dealt with so far. It was more annoying than Fuzz and any of the Moon Studio trainbots for me. There's so many places where if you didn't get the position correct ten steps back, something won't tab in correctly. Due to the nature of the collapsing chest, there's few places to get a good grip to tighten things up. The official instructions don't point out a ton of small sliders that are needed for clearance nor do they point out where tabs are supposed to slot in. I had to watch a couple videos to try and find one that actually showed some of the important details (

).

I want to get this guy back to bot mode then never transform it again.

 

Got mine yesterday and I can say the transformation does get somewhat easier once you figure out how things are supposed to work after a couple of attempts. It felt slightly more logical than say, NA MP Baywave (Beautiful piece for what it represents but transformation felt unintuitive. I still have trouble with the legs on that thing without referring to pics). Also, care most definitely must be taken with the ear fins. I had multiple near snapping encounters while transforming the upper body (the tip are highly prone to dings). That said, this thing was physically painful to transform. My fingers still hurt now as I type. But hey, the Asurada mode is not too shabby. I would love to see more Cyber Formula x TF in the future (especially the Proto Jaguar, which was the first Takara Cyber Formula kit I ever owned as a kid), assuming they can still somehow get away with the potential lawsuits. And while we're at it, would someone please do an 86 TF that's not Q-TF? Preferably in the iconic panda color.
