    While it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, companies can and will have their own online events or other opportunities to show us stuff, it's still a bit sad as I quite liked waking up to seeing lots of new stuff from all kinds of toy makers at the same time. I miss that experience.

    I can do without NY toyfair but Wonderfest has that extra special factor (even if it’s just us looking at photos of the event).

    Some art exhibits I was hoping to go to have already been canceled too, and those were further out in the year. Gotta wonder if they're still gonna attempt that farce of an Olympics. The majority of the public just wants it canceled outright but the politicians are still pushing for it. I'd be perfectly happy to do without it....I wasn't looking forward to that mess of logistics disrupting our lives even BEFORE the pandemic.

    Still....concerts, movies, art shows.....I miss these things.

    I haven't even been to karaoke in well over a year cause what could be dumber than everyone spitting and screaming and then passing the same mic to their friends in a small confined room?

    It's for the greater good of public health and safety. They can take a page from Bandai's example and run virtual hobby conventions.
