Like anyone will be going to the theaters with COVID on the rise, hell the number of deaths this Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years will probably force the theaters to stay closed till 2022.
And that's assuming that they can stay afloat until 2022 considering many are claiming financial ruin by early next year if nothing changes.
Well I'll have to wait to see it then as apparently movie theaters around here are being shut down again. -_- They should just release it on UHD the next day.
Yep. As much as I want to see this in theaters, I’ll just chill at home. Glad they’re finally releasing it though. Besides, they’ll probably re-release it to theaters in a few years when everything’s more stable.
I honestly don't care much about Wonder Woman (still haven't even seen the first film), but I hope this method of release becomes the new normal. People who prefer theaters can go see it there, and people who prefer home video can watch it at home. Seems like everyone wins.
Nice to know there's an option where you can help theatres stay afloat and a stay home option where you don't have to pay $30USD. Merry Christmas.
I get HBO Max free from having an AT&T subscription, so I'll finally have a reason to take advantage of it. I'll just need to get an Android to HDMI adapter since I have Roku, which doesn't support HBO Max. I still don't understand why theaters (Century, AMC, etc.) don't offer affordable one-time downloads for current movies and new releases to keep the industry thriving and to keep them from chapter 13.
HBO max may be coming to roku! Also warning wonder woman 2 will only be on max for a month then yanked off!
And my theaters are being shut down, so it's official, I'll just have to wait until WB releases the movie on UHD before I watch it, if I even care by then. I don't see why they can't just release it on video the same day as streaming. They'd make far more money that way.
They keep releasing trailers and tv spots with new and unseen footage this is going to be an Age of Ultron situation all over again where we've seen half the movie before we actually get to see it.
Yeah, that’s why I’m not bothering with anymore trailers. I want at least some of it to be new when I go to see it for the first time.
I'm not sure what I want to do? I really want to see this movie, but... I probably won't watch it in theaters, but I don't want to get HBO Max until Snydercut is out. I still prefer buying Blu-Ray as opposed to digital. I was going to try to transition to digital, but the new Amazon court case has me worried about purchasing digital again... That means I probably won't see this movie for a long time?
