why is everyone complaining about predaking\'s tiny waist? It looks pretty good when you compare it to the g1 cartoon.

Ok, so I'm going to do something sacrilegious and say MP Dinobot looks like complete shit in beast mode. Robot mode is fine, but that beast mode has bits sticking out everywhere. Weighing in at $200-$250, I expect better. Easy pass.

 

I think the reason Predaking looks better here is that he's actually in a halfways decent pose.

I like what I\'m seeing from the rest of potp and that studio series Grimlock is actually pretty sweet. I might have to pick him up.

Wow some awesome stuff!!! Is it actually screen accurate for Grimlock to have two full upper jaws in bot mode?? I always figured it must be the one split in half.

Blackout looks sweet too. Do we know how big it is - will it go with MPMs? Hold out for a true MPM blackout?

 

I think Predaking looks really good EXCEPT:

1. What the hell is with the unspiked hands? This is an iconic part of Predaking and unique to him among the Combiners. Abominus has spiked fists but Predaking doesn't? These designers are fans? Of what? This is an amazingly stupid and completely unnecessary error - it doesn't even save them any money.

2. Where are the swords? Predacons with no swords for a very high price? Seems excessively cheap.

So sad to see TakaraTomy with nothing special to show off and the only new announcement a barely recolored Prowl. Not sure what has happened to them, but they are starting to bring the brand down. You can even see it on the boards. If Hasbro is getting involved in the regular Masterpiece line as was hinted this weekend, we might be stuck with greedy imperfection forever.

 

Yup, it’s two full heads on his shoulders on the character model.

It's pretty depressing, tbh. But thankfully Takaratomy still wants to do justice to us fans by continuing their Legends line in the form of TT Mall. There's hope.
