The Japanese pledges don't go live until Wonder Fest payer this month. A slow down after the initial rush is normal for crowdfunding. We should see another boost as the campaign nears it end.

Someone that went to SDCC said no TTM Unicorn does not count towards numbers. Hasbro said they must have 8,000 US backers.

We will need someone going to Wonder Fest to ask TT/Hasbro & get that cleared up. because, if they both do not count towards the same total support needed, this thing likely ain't gonna get got....There are people that are only gonna support expecting that bump to help out.

Grand Max did well enough to at least get made, he just didn't meet his stretch goal to get his little Pretender shell for Grand. Either way I think a good few hundred to a thousand extra Unicrons orders will come out of Japan, and hopefully that will be more than enough.

Dont think Japanese collectors will willingly drop 50k plus yen for a character they have no attachment to...say unlike G1 MP 44 Convoy ver 3.0.

Thinks it's more the giant cool robot factor, especially since this appears to be the work of the Takara team. Im hoping ing to see an impressive transformation for a figure that size. Just saying MP Rodimus and MP Galvatron on display could only help:)

I just went with what Google tells me. Either way, it's not open for Japanese customers yet.

I see your point. People will buy it, because as I said, this is the Unicron everyone wanted. It’s up on BBTS for over $700 with a $155 deposit. If I bought this, and all of those inevitable bugs started happening, stress marks, cracks, paint scuffs, breakage....I can handle that on a $60 - $140 figure, but not so much on a $500 - $700 figure. That’s going to happen with moving parts, heavy moving parts. And it’s not classified as Masterpiece, even though it looks like one. I don’t understand why it is classified as a War for Cybertron figure, it is clearly Masterpiece level. I would expect QC to be superior, but you know it won’t be any different. If this thing is as big and heavy as some have said, some issues will surface. I do admire the artistry and design aspects that the designers have put into this, but it doesn’t always come out the other end the way they expected, but if I had only one Transformer, I might consider, and I might change my mind and bite. It’s cool as hell, but I will admire it from afar for now. I hope to see great reviews when it comes out.

Definitely. That's a more than reasonable stance to take. Nobody wants to plunk down $600-700 and watch their investment/prize disintegrate.
