Memphis Zoo visitor hops barrier in bid to feed lions cookies - CBS News She should get meat, not Snack Foods.
Not surprised. Some animals can't take human food. Try feeding a dog chocolate. You'll kill it. There might be some type of food that will kill lions so zoo keepers don't want to risk it being in the cookies. Its like that with every animal at the zoo. Animals can only be feed approved items. Those places that you can feed goats or whatever are all food they are OK with the animals eating. The also don't want some sicko wanting to hurt the lions by poisoning the food before giving it to them.
Obviously not mentally stable, whether by drugs or naturally. This new phenomenon shall be dubbed "zoo hopping."
Someone's been watching too much Disney Channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xB5ceAruYrI Advice should have recieved this advice at the zoo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HrnWC8zBcE
iremember in the 90s a crazy guy tryed to shag one.. well you know what happened next.. and no the kid wasnt the guy from Beuty and the beast.
Zoo animals have carefully planned and precise diets and a for a Lion cookies would not be part of that.
Its a good thing the lions weren't interested in her. They woulda paid the price for her stupidity if she got mauled. Even though they would be doing humanity a favor.
Bit harsh. You don't know what issues she had, so it's best not to judge, but still very bizarre. Been to Memphis Zoo before a couple of times, don't know how she managed to get in, there was quite a lot of security when I was there.
Not necessarily. It depends on the bread and type of chocolate. I've seen a dog devour an entire Easter basket full of chocolate, and he was fine.
I doubt he was fine after all that sugar. I still remember when our dog ate a whole bag of marshmallows.
Why not? Sorry, but sometimes you just need to call a spade a spade. Whether she was "all there" or not is irrelevant; it was a stupid thing to do.
It was a greyhound, and yes, he was fine. One of our pugs ate a few M&Ms once, and he was fine, as well. Most chocolate nowadays probably doesn't even have enough actual chocolate in it to be dangerous.
