Gotta say I am fucking excited to see this.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens on May 1st 2009.

 

That's not a bad pic. He definitely looks more muscular than he did for the x-men movies.

Jackman looks ripped.

 

After X-Men 3 I'm not counting on this movie being any good.

 

Understandable. At least this one isn't being rushed out the door like X3 with no care who directs it, so I'm hoping it will redeem the X series.

Either way I've always loved Jackman as Wolverine and that pic looks swa-eet. Count me in!

 

That's pure comic book art, right there. Hugh Jackman looks awesome. Hopefully he can redeem Movieverse Wolverine in this movie (in 2009..... damn).

 

We still need an Alpha flight movie.

I felt that the X-films went steadily downhill. I hope Wolverine bucks that trend.

The picture and Jackman's comments are promising.

 

Looks and sounds promising. Looks like this'll be another good year of movies to go and see.

 

I still think Wolverine needs to take a break, but here's hoping this is cool.

 

That pic looks sick, man! They need to show Wolverine's berserker rage in full force, tearing shit up. They also need to drop the "X-men Origins" part of the title. Just plain "Wolverine" is more than adequate and sounds a lot better IMO.

 

I did not like the direction of x3 at all. THis couls be good, but they didn't need to kill the whole X Men moive franchise to make this.
