Shattered Glass Devy I figured I'd get a thread started. Paints purchased. Crazy Devy parts acquired. What's probably going to make this easy to do is, the main piece is a white KO Devastator. Hopefully I'll be able to update on the progress in a few days. *EDIT* Update on post #37
Hey, that makes sense. I always thought of using G2 Devy with black parts, because of the autobot construction vehicles in RID. I hope you're not planning on leaving that purple on.
No....no purple. I'm going off of a digibash someone had posted up a while back. Most of the purple if not all the purple will be red (I included the red paint bottles in the pic as well as the other colors to give a hint) *edit* I'm actually taking all of them apart as we speak. Gonna clean off the purple parts and whatever other parts that are going to see paint. Then tomorrow, if I have time...a lil sanding here and there.
It can form the individual bots yes The paint apps I'm doing will not only be for Devy himself, but for all individual bots. I bought this set and the black KO Devy from chimungmung.com. I'm thinking I might But.....where do I find decals for it? Hmmmmmm........ Thanks! All the purple parts are drying out now. Gonna prep them for paint soon.
You can create them. Long as you can find some stock cross symbols, you can resize them to fit the figures... then print them on decal paper. F_R has a tutorial about water slide decals: TUTORIAL : WATER SLIDE DECALS - YouTube

Small update. All "red parts" are awaiting the dull coat to dry.... The chest shield is waiting for paint to dry before it gets coated. Going to move onto the other "colors" later. Testing the mixing barrel to see how it looks: Sorry about the pics though. Its getting late (for me anyway) and I'm tired so I wasn't really "trying" on the photos. The red is actually a little darker than in the photos.....
NP. And there's only a handful of small images on TFWiki of the SG Constructicons... and I believe they're only minor in most of the comics, so I say you can place them wherever you see them fitting in.
Looking good so far. I can't wait to see the finished product. I was thinking about ordering the white set myself, could you tell me about the box it came in? Was the back of the giftset box the same as the original Devs giftset? Or was it the one with the newer Japanese artwork. Thanks.
Cool. Thanks! However, after watching that tutorial, I realized I don't have a printer that will help with this lol (or the adobe software). I'm going to have to try to figure something out. As it stands, at least Devy will be painted. Thanks! It has the newer Japanese artwork on the back. The front now has that "grey border" that wasn't on the previous ko giftset boxes, but not to worry. The number 5 for long haul is still not centered Wonder why if they spent that much effort to correct one thing, why they didn't bother correcting the other. Oh well. Thanks!
I did this to my white ko devy, i think it looks great, but ultimately im figuring out how to cast the purple parts in red as i already see paint chipping on mine. Im also going to do a teal on the black ko devy i got.
Progress update: Got all six constructicons done. Now....to finish up the crazy devy parts... Mixmaster & Scrapper: Hook & Long Haul: Scavenger & Bonecrusher: They do transform, but some of the joints were kinda stiff. Since I'm leaving this in Devastator mode, I'm not too worried. Hope everyone likes this so far
not bad man, looks very clean for a white paint job (they can be difficult) and HOLY STAR WARS DISPLAY man!!!!
That's cool! Even though you aren't going to display them as individuals, will you still be giving them SG Decepticon faction symbols?
