    It's hard to paint treads green IMHO...I think black makes it more natural to the eye.

    I didn't just mean the treads. I agree those look better black. I was meaning the rest of the robot. What was your inspiration? It's not G1 colored. Is it based on anything? Or is it just personal preference?

    It's nearly done, just have to finish the upper shoulder section and then it will be done so I can attach it.

    Thanks guys! I am using a custom flat white and sublime green mix. My selection of paints is not as vast as it used to be when I lived in New England so I'll have to either order online and wait forever or mix my paints for some colors. This worked out but was a real pain.

    It's based on G1 basic colors with a lot of improvising because the figure's parts and pieces are not similar to the G1 original figure. I'm really looking forward to the day that some 3rd party company makes us a better G1 version. I've been using this drawing here and there somewhat:
