Thanks guys Put up a couple more with the alternate wing transformation. Alt mode may be up sometime this week.
Looks good man. The black stripe is cool i like it, but it looks like it could use some work as i see some uneven and rough edges. Seeing all these movie sunstreaker repaints makes me wanna make one too.
Looking good Tamo....this really is an awesome mold they put out....he works well as Sunstreaker. I do agree with Drpee's statement about the black stripe....I know it can be hard to get a nice crisp stripe (Lord knows I have tried)
Yep it can be tricky. What i find works best is making sure i never spray too much on. Thick paint will make a rough edge when you pull the masking tape away. As long as i apply very thin coats, even if it takes all day to get the shade i want, i'll get a super crisp and neat line. You also must make sure you never put the paint on "wet". Basically what i mean is if you are spraying the paint on and you are getting a glossy sheen right away then you run the risk of having paint bleed under the tape and ruining your lines. As long as you keep things light and dry you'll be golden. Hope this helps the OP if you decide to re-do the racing stripe.
