    I thought I would paint voyager defender prime a different color, because most always do nememis prime or ultra magnus....its orange and grey ( not finished painting)...using walmart cranberry tree paints and paint brushes...cream color primer

    Cool, but using non-model paints aren't a great idea. Even though It looks pretty good so far, you should try to find Acrylics, or enamels instead of tree paint. Michale's/Ac-more's in the models aisle.

    thats a pretty neat colour combo, very constructiony.

    I used craft paint on my first custom even mixed with testors (budget) and it chipped at the slightest summers breeze, you can clear coat the heck out of it, but its grainy so it'll catch easily and i just dont think it bonds with plastic well. im pretty sure i even sanded it. i dunno how much clear coat it would take but i dont even like the added thickness on top of testors let alone on top of the grain.

    I always wanted to mod my voyager optimus aswell, he pales compared to leader class

    And yeah, you're right man! i did a nemesis and a mixmaster (yellow and right here on the boards) out of him, love them both!

    i get really exited about your project, cant wait to see him finished! :)

    Thanks guys....I kinda like the chipped and scratches, I mean they transform...imb gonna get into other paints for my next paint jobs...again thanks for advices...
