    - Head from Botshots with modified plug to accommodate balljoint.
    - Hands from Bandai Hand units 1/100 scaled.

    EDIT: Update 10/21/2012 - 50% done.

    How do the hands and head fit with the transformation?

    Also, a random question- could the peg leg be easily replaced with a spare left leg? Would it be symmetrical, or are there left-leg-specific details that would make it look odd?

    Will be more like Prime colors after I am done with him.

    The head turns around 180 degrees in liger mode and slides down.
    As for the legs, I see that being doable.

    New word is, that Japanese Arms Micron will be re-using this mold for Lio-Convoy.

    Great work though. Spot-on with some new coloring, but pretty cool looking as is.

    Very nice so far! I do hope we get a Leo Convoy remold\repaint down the road sometime. The mold really suits him

    That is so choice. I'd love him as is as Magnus. :) 

    I have random question about the bot shots head. If you have a g1 huffer or pipes, could you compare head sizes? I'm wanting to know if I could put a bot shots op head in place of huffers.

    Awesome! What, if any, mods did you do? I definitely want to crank out a Lio Convoy from this mold......if/when we see it over here! I love the hands & head though--they fit this mold perfectly. Can't wait to see it all painted up!

    This looks fantastic. I've been unconvinced about this Thundertron mold up till now, but you've really sold me on it. The Botshots Prime head looks great on there! :)

    I'm trying not to buy anything at retail right now, man... Too awesome. Can't ignore. Have to try this myself now. Emphasis on "try." I think I have a spare Optimus head somewhere...

    Dang man that is sick! Great idea of using a Botshots head lol they are cheap to pick up, and hands look clean!

    I have to agree with some of the others, he looks good as is HAHA Ultra Magnus FTW!
