Ok, I'm sure some of you have already done this. This (probably) won't get too much attention, and that's fine, I'm just putting it out there. I'm basically aiming for a movie-accurate Crosshairs, but first, he needed stripes on BOTH SIDES! Using Sharpie (yes, I know what you're thinking, "Sharpies suck!"), but with some tape, it can create some pretty nice stripes. This is what I have so far. I'm still going to do several layers over to straighten them out.
Nice! Also just for your info, Hasbro is going to release a double striped Crosshairs in a 5 pack, but your lining is incredible! Didnt even think it was sharpie!
where are all these guys learning to use sharpies to make awesome art???? lol sweet job man. as for the "what if" for other crosshairs with both sides with stripes, i made one ^-^ here have a look it's not the same green as the one you used, but you might like it anyway
May have to add this to mine nice work mate, I just finished my crosshairs yesterday, full reprint. Going to go back to it and do this now
Looks good, man! I definitely want to get the Autobot 5-pack myself, but my Crosshairs came with two of the same heel piece, so after snipping off the tabs so he could transform, I figured that I'm already customizing him. That was a long sentence. I'm really liking all these mods and repaints to him. I thought he was a painfully average figure at first (especially after the awesome of Scorn, Slug, and Evasion Optimus), but with every little mod and extra bit of color I add, I like him more and more. I just wish I had some real paints instead of metallic sharpies!
Yeah, I was thinking about using paints too, but I was worried about paint bleed with the tape, so I opted for a fine Sharpie instead.
