Hi Wide was away for the weekend so I decided to spend some time on these guys. Cloudburst came from some brainstorming when I learnt of the leader Jetfire that is coming out. I never really could accept this puny Jetfire as my whole collection is based on voyager sized figures, and I got to repurpose him. I've still got some paint apps to finish but I ran out of paint, but I'm interested to know if anyone knows of any improvements I can make to the figure to perfect Cloudburst? Rollout was another identity challenged bot in the collection. Originally alternators Rollbar, but apart from being a jeep, I couldn't work out WHY they used that name. When I seen the action master Rollout, I couldn't help but think they might have stuffed the name up. Not 100% that the orange paint is right, but any other opinions on improving the homage? Kinda glad didn't get too many suggestions cos I busted my wrist coming off a bike after work. These won't be finished any time soon
sorry to hear this...hope you mend up soon! All I would have suggested was add a little yellow to the waist panels there to tie it all in, and help break up that blue a little bit.
