I had originally planned for this to be entered in the contest over at sector70 but I ran out of time and the paint wasn't taking at all so I thought I'd share this with you all. I made a lot of mistakes but I learned a helluva lot in my first build where I was forced to make limbs from scratch. Hope you enjoy, will post final pics when paint dries, peace.

Looks really rough. I reserve judgement for when I see the finished figure.

I've wanted to attempt an Astrotrain for years! This looks great. Do his arms fold up into the cab?

This looks very promising. I'd love to see you finish this.

And why wasn't the paint taking? What brand(s) do you use?

I am limited by my options as I am living in cairo now and I odnt have access to the highest quality materials, hence the need for having to build parts from scratch. The paint is some car enamel (i think?!) that I bought from a lace down the street, I was lucky to find that haha.

Yes they do, and it was a pain in the ass haha. If you do decide to attempt one I can help you out in any way that I can.
