I am working on sholder pieces for Super Starscream like those that his G1 counterpart had in the movie. I have finaly made it to prototype phase and would like your feedback. I still have to figure out how I want to attach a cape to the final product and currently they interfear with deployment of his force chip gimick.

    The colors are also preliminary.

    Thanks for looking.

If you could repro those, I would buy a set, but I think you should cut a slot down for the weapons, I dont think it would interfere with the stability.

Very cool. In the end I'd take cool shoulder pads over the key gimmick. If only the Mega size had that cool stuff...

Very interesting indeed. And, I concur, I think that you can cut a slot for the weapons, or instead of making a part that gets in the weapons' way, make a curved part that hook onto the arm at a point above the weapons.

And change the color. I know you may want to stay show accurate with the blue, but matching the red of the missile racks would give a much more unified color scheme.

Hell, in the movie, they look more purple, with the highlight being gold; that would also match with his weapons and shoulder pods:

If you can get your hands on two cyber keys that you don't mind taking a knife to, you could even incorporate the key function INTO the shoulder pads. (I.E. locking the pads into place deploys the weapons) Also, the rounded bits would look better angular, IMHO. That said, they look REALY good.

Thanks for all the comments. I'll have to give some thought to the key addition. The colors are only what I had laying around at the time. I am working on a redesign incorporating suggestions from both here and transtopia, one of which is the rounded portion will be more angular.

As for making more of them, that decision will have to wait untill I have completed at least one set for me. :)

    Once again. Thanks.
