well i have MANY broken, disassembled, and loose parts stored from various DEAD transformers so i decided to make a custom why i chose armada blurr? because its the only one that will work with the parts i have he will be taller(don't know exactly how much but really tall for a deluxe), more proportionate, will have full articulation, will retain the minicon missile launching gimmick, and will be configurable(appearance more than anything) and the most important, will have a FULL jet mode, in which the minicon will have a big role, the nosecone XP some of the early wip photos will be uploaded tomorrow because its late right now by the way, he will be VERY colorful why? first because of the scavenged parts and second, i can't use any PAINT because of my allergies yeah, thats a shame, it would have been amazing with the right paint job some help, what i should use to make the CUSTOM parts yes, i have to make some parts but as i said before ALLERGIES so i need some help with that UPDATE added new Photos showing well how things will connect still its a very early wip but you can already see where this is going Minor Update here some examples of the articulation he will have some up down neck articulation as well as full rotation to the sides ball jointed shoulders, ball jointed middle forearm, ball jointed elbow, and a swivel joint arm additionally to the joints in the "hips", he will have ball jointed legs, and knees since i am still searching the front part of rid prowl (i need it to make the front part) the project will be in stand by while, i will repair my rotf ravage, and mixmaster but the project will continue right when i find that piece
If you're worried about your allergies and want to paint you can always grab a filtration mask, rubber gloves and general protective wear. Painting by hand using acrylics will lay to rest any airborn particles. Your other option is to finish assembly and work out a deal with an accomplished painter here for finishing. Good luck!

Anything can work really. It's just a matter of planning and implimentation. Not sure if I have this mold anymore but from what I recall all it really needs is a new waist, knees and shoulders to be properly articulated. I see (if i'm looking at the pic correctly) you've got the the legs all worked out and to me that's most of the hard work done. If you've got the jetmode already figured out then it seems to me that you're done planning. If your planning is done I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. Might as well give it a shot. You only live once!

I know what you mean. When your doing your custom parts just make sure that you plan carefully and execute your work with patience. My first custom parts were collapsable legs for classics prime (spinning chest gimmick dude). It took about a week but in the end I nailed it because I worked slowly and carefully.
i am having a little problem i cant find one part i need for the vehicle mode its in a box, the problem is which one but the project is progressing overall very well i found many joints that will help in the transformation process and the vehicle mode will be as clean as possible i will update with the earlly vehicle mode mock up soon
i'd LOVE to see blurr from armada brought into 2011, i feel like the generations line should start doing other toylines such as g2 or the unicron trilogy era i want to see this when its done
