this was originally a wip movie sideswipe

but after getting alternity convoy and being on a g2 gobot op kick with classic sideswipe and the new laser op i decided to make him into a convoy.



if you can't tell it has body parts swapped from 3 versions of the mold, 2 bb and 1 cj. it has wfc bb hands and i may try to add the swords too.

i want to add a little more blue to the legs and copper bits like on the movie bits to brake up the solidity. grill will get paint and i may make the black stripes blue to mimic the trailer stripe. i also haven't decided on the head cause wfc op's looks awesome too.

oh, and i really hate that damn kibble on the arms!

i don't know how detailed i'm going to get. so any ideas are welcome.

Since the feet collapse into the car and hides it, you might want to paint it blue to the overall Convoy look/colors.

Nice work there.

 

The feet will be painted, I just hadn't made it that far yet. All my paints and brushes are at work Anna I only had paint markers when I took the pic.

i may steal your idea and use the hod as a shield. it's very rid sideburn which i love.
