Thanks guys as well as the rest of the Radicon Community. It helps when I discuss my ideas with everyone here…I feel these projects come out much better when everyone’s involved. This is the beauty of the Radicon Community. Malfunction has his coming up in very vibrant G1 colors soon enough, and I’m still anxiously awaiting what F_R does with his… I totally see your point and you don’t even know how I was on the fence with that. In the end, adding the extra parts on the front bulked him out. I was thinking about shaving down the area first but then I lost the strength of the front panel. That was one of those nights where I took the easy way out because I didn’t mind the look. You ever just say “ah fcuk it?” Well I’m guilty of that. Agreed – I took them off. Those were the only ones I have but I agree he looks better with weathered ones or none at all…so he has none now. Oh boy I don’t know yet. I will say I have 2 constructicon vehicles from the movie . Trust me Zmog, They ARE too small for those bodies. The first run of these guys were terrible. I threw around some ideas with fellow members and started experimenting here and there, adding “predacon armor” to the forearms/shoulders and it started to come together.
LOL; well at least you're honest. I can appreciate that. Outstanding job again though, Moe. I don't want you to think that, with my criticism, that I don't like them. My comments are purely observations where I think your work could be improved, and nothing more. Again, great work! - Alty
WOw, I really like the colors you went with and the shoulder cannons. What did you use to make those cannon?
These are made from scrap pieces of Primus...mainly two of his shoulder cannons (with the outside casing taken off and the back cut), then I attached a primus planet key holder from his back to where I cut the cannon. If you want close-ups or if you have any other questions, let me know. It's all good Atty. I welcome all points of improvement...like I said...you are one of the guys that makes this project even better.
and that is what im f##kg talking about...damn everthing that i see now is trumendous perfections...u r truly outdone ur skill by fix all the small error in first place..ure the man Moe's...now what else can i say after u adding some realistic dirty on those robots????brutalis robot with realism perfections... ...dont forgot to accompany my predaking WIP.....later....after my recent G1 lists done...
Fixed Others have commented on the color palette, and I'd agree that I'd like to see a bit more vibrant oranges and yellows while still retaining the weathered look. Not to worry, because the one you'll send me as a belated b-day gift can have the awesome that's in this thread and brighter colors too (great job, bud )
Wow, this is killer Moe. That greasy "just walked through a refinery fire" paint job is total awesomeness, you're on to something with that man. And although Divebomb's little arm is showing in gestalt mode, his bot mode RULEZZZZ!!! I think that get's the "most improved" award. The whole thing is a new level of excellence. You nailed a great mix between organic forms and mechanical looking mean-ness.
Holy! How come I missed this?! I like how you used parts from the Universe 2.0 figures for your Predacons, Razorclaw being my fav!
