Hello, I like the web browser comic reader on Comixology - it zooms to each frame. Which comic book reader does the same so I can read my CBZ backup like this while offline? I've downloaded "Comic Rack" and "CDisplay Ex" already but I don't want to do too much trial and error installing and un-installing programs etc. I'm on a Window 7 laptop. Any advice appreciated
That's not something a CBZ reader can do - comiXology's Dynamic View thing will have involved somebody manually going through the comic and setting each panel for the reader to zoom in on. A CBZ file is literally just a ZIP full of plain image files. I suppose in theory software could be written to automatically identify the panels in an image it's fed, but as far as I'm aware there's no CBR/CBZ viewer out there that does that. The closest you'll get is a mouse-controlled "magnifier lens" - CDisplay has a nice one, CDisplay Ex does too but I don't find it as good.
Thanks for the reply. It's called Guided View. I found this... What is comiXology's Guided View™ t... i guess Comixology is the best then.
