    Let's keep it simple.

Say, you walk into a store and see a brand new Scoria on the shelf for $150. Knowing what you know now--other peoples' experiences with it, good and bad...

You get to take home a Scoria for $150 all-in. Will you buy it?

Well I voted yes, but I already own one. So I know exactly what I would be getting.

Honestly, Scoria is an amazing figure and the issues it does have really pale in comparison to how awesome it is. For the record, I do have the most common issue (shoulder looseness) and even with that, I'm ecstatic to own this guy and look forward to all future FT Dibot releases.

Yes, yes I would. I still like it, even with the issues. $150 would be a steal.

Just hoping he doesn't do the splits on me. So far, no splits!

100% No, because it's unofficial/unlic. To me it is just another med to highend KO no matter how good it looks or how expensive/inexpensive it is.

    just my honest 0.2 cents.

    Ppl still think like this?

It's not a KO, it's IP infringement. Unless you can point me to where HasTak did this exact figure first which FT knocked off/copied?

For 150, yes. But that's the absolute top of what I'd be willing to pay, and since there are no shops in Serbia that sell high-end TF collectibles, I'm safe.

This. Mine started off fine but is now slowly getting loose around the shoulders. But that's really an easy fix and you don't have to be a big-time customizer to do it. Just unscrew the two screw on the backs of his shoulders, disassemble the arm enough to take it off, and put a coat or two (or more depending on the looseness) on and you're done.

So yeah; if I didn't already own one, I'd gladly go in there and save 50 bucks.

Am I reading this question wrong? I already paid $200 for it. Of course I would have paid $150 for it.

I actually like the voyager sized slag better. This guy is bigger tham MP grimlock and the alt mode looks a bit elongated. Perhaps a fix to one would have fixed the other.

Nope. I had this preordered at CP for $180-ish during the Black Friday sale, and I ended up cancelling. There's just something off about this figure. Where Quakewave fits almost seamlessly into my MPs, the pictures of Scoria convinced me history won't repeat itself. I can't quite put my finger on what it is that I dislike, but Scoria just isn't for me. Even with the flood of pictures posted by some very talented board members, I have yet to see a single picture of this figure that makes me regret dropping my preorder.

Considering I just paid $190 for one, most definitely. I don't understand the argument that he's "too big". He's meant to fit in with the MP line, so obviously he's going to be larger scaled. I can't wait to see what FT does with the rest of the Dinobots, especially Grimlock. MP Grimlock is a bit too small to fit in with the new scale of MP's, and I'm sure FT will amend that with their version.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Sure it's IP infringement, which I actually wonder if it is. I wonder if they still own those images and such all these years later. I bet they do, but the laws were different then, so who knows. I mean, they can't even name certain cars their TF name.

    But I digress.

3rd Party has moved WAY beyond KOing at this point. I look at it as the high end collecting of this hobby.

I would also like to ask this guy, if he think the Radicons are making KOs then?
