Do we know if the upcoming season, Transformers Prime Beast Hunters will introduce Cybertronian that are Autobots, or allies to the Autobots that can turn into beast modes? Because so far all available information seems to indicate that only the Decepticons will have beast-transformers, or Predacons on their side, and that just feels wrong, or out of balance.

 

I believe it has been theorised that the Dinobots may appear in Season 3 to even the odds, so to speak. I don't know if there's been any interviews or creator claims about the Dinobots, but it is posible they might be introduced.

 

It'll most likely be the Dinobots, but I wouldn't mind there being a Maximal for at least one episode. Maybe similar to the whole "Protector" thing from the comics.

I'd absolutely LOVE to see a Maximal appear. We've already had David Kaye (BW Megatron) in the form of an Insecticon, so hopefully there'll be more shoutouts to BW.

I would really like to see Rattrap going back in time and meeting his great-aunt Arcee, and she'd be like "Who the slag are YOU?" LOL

 

When it comes to the Dinobots, I think all but Grimlock are dead. The others were never shown leaving the planet when it was still in good shape and the planet looks far worst.

When it comes to possible Maximals, I want new characters. I would want to stay true with Beast Wars legacy and not have any past characters as Maximals or Predacons. I don't want my childhood factions losing what made them special because they were used over and over like the Autobots and Decepticons have became.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Bantor come in as a stranded Maximal. Ratchet did mention his name when he was in his confused state.

 

The Dinobots, or at least Grimlock, are said to be appearing in season three at some point. I've also heard, and I can't remember where from, that supposedly one of the Predacons will switch sides.

 

Grimlock at least will make an appearence.

 

I have a feeling Grimlock and the remaining Dinobots were rebuilt as Predaking and the Predacons.

 

I don't want the Dinobots, that would just be a waste of animation model money.


1 or 2 Maximals/beast Autobots would be cool, like Leobreaker and Rattrap

Other than the Dinobots, I hope not. Considering what we already know for models (Predaking, etc), I'd at least like the hope for more of the regular Autobots to show up soon. If they blow the rest of the character model budget on maximals, that would just be 'meh'.

 

well there were Maximals or a Maximal in RID(Carrobots)! most notably Skybite! + Blackarachnia & Waspinator in TF Animated! so anything's possible.

 

No, those were Predacons. RID had no Maximals.

 

ah right ty, but they still hark from the Beast Wars lore! even though they never appeared on the show or toyline! apart from the Skybite toy, which I believe was originally part of the Beast Wars toyline, but maybe under a diff name.

The Predacons from RID are a completely separate entity from the Beast Wars Predacons, and aside from Megatron were ALL repaints (with most of them amusingly having been originally Maximal molds (including the non-show Bruticus, no relation to the original combiner, as it was developed originally for Maximal use) with the exception of Slapper, who used Spittor's mold).
