I'm thinking more and more she will. Her smaller, individual bike-bots we've seen (Chromia, Arcee) are wheel bots and I can't seem to see how the combined form would be bipedal. Thoughts?
From what we know so far, yes it seems she'll be a wheelbot. Arcee's stand looks like it's intended to be a combiner foot, and Chromia has a hidden tab hinting that she turns into a right arm.
My thoughts are that her combined form will be somewhat like that of Sideswipe. She'll have two legs with wheels for feet. That's my theory anyway.
Indeed !! I made a drawing of the idea days ago !! Bluecee & Purplecee could be the legs and Pinkcee provides the upper body while the other 2 provide their huge Left arms for the combine form !! But pretty much in idea Arcee could be a smaller version of Sideswipe !! She is stated to be faster in the Junior nobel Book !! Ill see if I can load tit in a moment !!
This is what I had in mind !! I know is an awful drawing( it would likely kill you if you see it ), don't consider myself an artist but is the best I could think of.. Pink's wheel-leg folds to the back and Blue's and Purple's right arms folds back to become part of the legs. Dumb theory but I just can't see it any other way !! This is so true. But frankly, I love the wheel bots (as long as the have "toes" to stand up)! Sideswipe is my favourite, so I hope the combined form has a design like his, two wheels, one on each foot.
Maybe her combined form was scrapped for the movie - and the peg on the Chromia figure is just a left-over, kind of like the tab on Universe Galvatron. Of course, the complete lack of communication between people involved in this movie could mean that the guy who wrote the novel adaptation didn't know about the change, and the combining Arcee was left in the novel - but not in the adaptation comic book. Either way, the only thing that's clear is that nobody knows what the hell is going on with those bikes.
Indeed !! and not only her but Jolt too !!! We dunno nothing about him except he is in the movie (but hasn't been mention anywhere both in comic and Novel adaptations)
Wouldn't her combined form have 6 wheels? Two for each bike? She'll probably have a wheel for each foot, two wheels for wing like things, and some deconstructed wheels on her thighs or arms.
While I'm sure that, in the movie, the three 'Arcee' bikes will combine, I'm really starting to wonder about the toys, despite the mysterious connector on Chromia. For one, having seen two out of three of the bike toys, neither has anything that jumps out as obvious parts for a combined robot leading me to wonder what on earth it would look like (weird, multi-wheeled thing with a big head on top?) The second thing is the bizarre selling strategy as Chromia doesn't appear to have anything in her packaging or instructions to suggest she combines. Chromia is wave 2. Arcee is a wave 3 or later and third bike is an even later wave. Chromia is female and hardly the best looking robot. If the combiner mode isn't revealed until the release of the third bike then there's the chance that kids will skip Chromia & Arcee and then find they need them to complete the combiner when the third bike is released, by which time the earlier ones may be harder to find. I know Hasbro doesn't tend to mention Prime's add-on bots on Prime's package but they are just supermode armour and the Leader toys tend to be readilly available much longer because they only release a small number of molds. A lot of deluxes are released and disappear off the shelves far quicker to make way for the next wave. I can understand why Hasbro wouldn't want three bike chicks in a deluxe wave all at once but maybe they'd have been better released as one Voyager toy containing the three bikes at a scout size. One way or another, I'm sure Botcon will answer the question of the 'Arcee' combiner. Ferret
Six-wheeled ?? Doubt it !! Best way to give an idea is with Chromia !! Look, She has the shape of a leg !! I never noticed it until now !! If the 3 were to combine, where would the Pink Arcee's wheel-legs go ?? I believe The Purple and Blue become the legs and is the Pink one that transforms radically to become the upper body !!! Her 2 wheels go to the back !!
