I thought they didn't show him at BotCon, I heard they just mentioned him.

 

You needn't wonder, OP. There'll almost always be a Starscream in any Transformers series.

Let's go with that, my memory's pretty fuzzy at times.

 

I remember from the news that came out of Bot Con and Comic Con that Starscream would be in Transformers Prime. Might not be the first episodes but the writers did have plans for the character.

No pictures yet of what he might look like in the cartoon, but then there have been lots of other robots that were mentioned for the show but didn't have character art shown for them yet. It's unclear if the art just wasn't ready yet or if they wanted to save some surprises to get people to watch.

 

Starscream is going to be in TF: Prime. Whatever gave you the impression that he wasn't?

 

I suppose the fact we've seen Megatron and his drones, but not Starscream or Soundwave who were confirmed at BotCon, caused the concern. Interestingly, it was said both Megs and Screamer have rejected Earth modes (though Starscream's jet form was said to be very reminiscent of G1).

Come now of course Starscream will be there. It wouldn't be a Transformers series without him in the mix.

 

It's pretty much one of the cardinal franchise rules: all future Transformers franchises will have an Optimus, a Bumblebee a Megatron, and a Starscream. There's really no room for debate or doubt, it's fact. The day it isn't true is the day Transformers is, well, over forever.

for the past 8 years,Starscream has been in every cartoon/toy line since armada. so yes starscream will be in TF Prime.

 

He is confirmed to be in it, but I'm guessing the opening poster is asking simply because we haven't seen a design for TFP Screamer yet. He is in it, and he will be an alien jet, since (just like Megatron) he views Earth modes as beneath him in this series.

 

Starscream and Soundwave were confirmed at Botcon "and others that we're not ready to talk about yet", so there's more than just those three and the Troopers on the Decepticon side.

 

I also wonder if Starscream is going to die and come back in some form like he's done in the past.
