In the beggining of transformers prime starscream was my favorite character. Now he's a joke. How many times has he quit then rejoined the deceptions? As soon as megatron punishes him he turns around and plots his revenge, it's just ridiculous. Do you think he'll be thrown out again, or will he stay loyal for a while? Answer the poll what you think

Starscream will betray Megatron at some point. Its just his nature to try to become Lord Starscream, leader of the Decepticons.

Starscream for now wants the help he can get and if he has the rejoin the Decepticons to get that power back then he'll do it. Or Megatron will just use him until his usefulness has ended. Either way it won't last very long.

Of course. That's like wondering if the sun will rise. Or if Optimus will say something nonsensical and needlessly over-dramatic.

Oh I'm sure he will. As they say, height recalls high thoughts.

of course he will, the only questions are will he succeed and, if not, will he survive?

If Starscream mean't what he said at the beginning of "Partners" than he probably wouldn't betray Megatron.

Probably, eventually. He'll likely continue to be basically just comic relief for a while, with the Predacons taking the major villains spot, until some opportunity arises (likely a season ender).

When is Starscream not betraying Megatron in this show? Seriously, it will happen again.

    People actually think he wont?
    Its Starscream.

Starscream is the biggest lying liar in nearly every Transformers universe.

Yeah, he probably will. Or maybe he'll surprise us and actually stay loyal this time.

Or maybe he won't and will just try his usual treachery again.

Starscream will always betray Megatron. It is his nature after all. All Starscream wants is to be the leader of the Decepticons and rule Cybertron.

I don't know. Starscream isn't stupid. He knows very well it could all go terribly wrong if he does try to usurp Megatron's power, and the real question is would he be willing to risk all he's managed to get back just for a bit of extra power.

He's already back to First Lieutenant, I think. And it would be a nice bit of character development for Starscream if he did remain loyal to Megatron for the rest of the series. It'd show that he really has learned from his past failures and mistakes.

This version of Megatron is completely insane and his actions actively serve as the catalyst for those who betray him.

He's someone who- replaces his forearm with one from a corpse, offers servitude to Unicron, hangs around exploding space bridges and the one I still can't get over... stabs himself in the Spark with a substance that's said to be "the Anti-Spark". Why did he expect a positive outcome from that?

Considering he spared Arcee when she was helpless, after she spared him (and considered it even), he's mentally shackled from doing so until he rescues Megatron from a pretty bad situation.

Then he'd no longer feel obliged to be loyal.
